For Spearmint Rhino, there is a cell / texting offer you can use.

For DjvuCOI, I think there is a free admission coupon on their website you can print out. You might also be able to print out a coupon from Paradise too (assuming they have a website).

Thanks![/QUOTE]San Gabriel Tribune has some club coupons but not consistently each day. L. A. Weekly always has a coupon for all SoCal Deja Vu clubs.

Have you checked the club sites? Local strip club sites usually post coupons you can print.

Synn and Paradise will give you free passes when you partake of the "specials" which is kind of funny since you can always get a 3 for 1 at Paradise. They are related clubs so Synn coupons are good at Paradise and vice versa.

Daytime admission is only $5 anyway. You'll pay $5 for the drink so its $10 without coupons and $5 with. Higher admission at night.

Does anybody remember the tall skinny platinum blonde Jayla with huge store bought tatas who worked at Hawaii for years then retired from the scene once it closed down? She used to run her website.

My all time fave was this latina (from honduras). Jeanie. She was at HT and when they closed I lost touch with her. Then by chance I reconnected with her at SR COI a year ago. Since then, she has been MIA. I have not been able to catch her at SR COI. My last encounter with her was back in September of 11 and I miss that ass. She used to hang with Eve and everytime I ask another dancer at SRCOI they say she moved. I don't know whether to believe them or not. If anyone has any intel, let a brotha know.

Any of you COI hardcores care to offer a State of DVO report as to how it compares to DVCOI? DVO is one of the original DV clubs going back to at least the early 90's if not the 80's. It is one of the few clubs in all of SoCal where a decent grinding mutual high contact dance could be had in the primitive era when 95% of clubs around here provided air dances or literally required a customer to keep his hands behind his back or on the arms of a chair while getting a dance. Club employees walked around and made sure dudes were in compliance or they were out. But a few clubs such as Tropical Lei, Bob's Classy Lady in Van Nuys, the Jet Strip in Hawthorne and DVO dared to move forward giving the guys what we wanted. Other clubs followed and some, particularly the clubs in COI / Puente passed the original mileage clubs by.

Last time I visited DVO was probably 5 years ago and it was decent. Fairly hot dancers as DV clubs are usually good for, and decent dances though falling short of COI mileage. I'm thinking that maybe the space between these two DV clubs has narrowed as higher mileage is now generally available throughout the southland. Ironically though the DV in NoHo is going backwards from what I've personally experienced fwiw.

Also, is it correct that DVO is now $10 topless all the time? Also seems to be offering more opportunities for the $100 VIPs that are only available on Thursdays at DVCOI and during rare specials on other days.

Can't give you an answer on that one, but I'd sure be interested if someone can. For some reason it always seemed to have promise, but in my experience never delivered. I've been there maybe 10 times over the years (though it's been many years since I've been there.) , and can't recall ever having a really good experience. Although way, way back, in the time frame you describe, I have some vague recollections of some decent dances in the back. But a combination of girls who were just not that attractive (IMO) and dances that just didn't pan out, and reviews that pretty much sucked, I crossed that off my list a very long time ago. Especially since Tropical Lei and Hawaii were delivering such a great experience at the time with the seriously high mileage $20 laps (prior to the installation of the VIP nonsense at TL) , so DVO was pretty much not even a contender. Hell, if you could go into TL and have some girls sliding their hands up your shorts (some even with lotion) , and seriously trying to get you off for a mere $20, why go anywhere else?

But those days are long gone, so maybe it's a different club. Would be nice.

On a not-so-related subject (but there's really no place here to post it so I'll do it here) I'm wondering if maybe Strip Joint in Pomona might be a new rising star in the lap dance department. It's been months since I've been there, and that was only one trip in a long time, so I'm not sure I saw all it had to offer. From some recent reports I'm seeing 3 for $20 laps and some discussion of some surprisingly high mileage. Add to that the 10 song VIP's for, what, $75 or so, and it's sounding like it might be worth checking out.

That's another place that always held some promise, but never really delivered, for me at least. Seemed like the girls were never really attempting to get you off, just doing some fairly mechanical laps that were, in the end, pretty frustrating. But if the reports are true, it sounds like that tide may have shifted and there might be some real intent going on.

To them,"topless" means bikini top still on (but boobies exposed). The best mileage I've experienced at DVO is some touchy feely stuff. DVCOI seems to be much better prospect all around.

That is also my experience except going back to the late 80's or 90's when the whole idea of customer participation strip clubs was new in SoCal (we were behind NYC, SF, Vegas, Seattle, East St. Louis and ALL of Florida) , DVO was hot because it was hotter than almost all others. Nothing compared to Tropical Lei (until Hawaii opened). Every pass that place ever threw was a long bomb. The owner was always bold and brash and fuck you to LE (with the finger of one hand while paying them off with the other?)!

Huge demerits for SJP though for Peruvian Bat Cave darkness (live nude girls on a pitch black stage). And the reason is they were dancing in the dark in my days of giving this club a BIG chance to win my business, is that good light didn't favor them. The VIP is the original great bargain in SoCal clubs, but is also conducted in blackout conditions. I suppose that provides opportunities and there was a quasi famous porn star who once worked there who would give me BJs in the VIP but for me it loses something if I can't see her doing it at all. Like getting sucked off by a ghost. Maybe give me a heavy blunt just before and it could be hot. For years I've been waiting for this club to get as outlaw as it ought to be and with higher tier talent. If it is now, I'll check it out cause the price is right.

I got very involved with that place and later Hawaii and a few of the dancers. For better and for worse, mostly better. Don't like Randy the owner, but admire his cajones. He really is a pioneer in pushing the limits in this region.

I always give the DV credit though for working at the edge of the limitations that whatever jurisdiction they are in imposes. They take it as far as they can but they don't push their luck.

Never forget Savana sitting down next to me one time, and she looked real familiar, only because I had seen porns with her sister and those pancake sized areolas. Never knew there were two of them, and just assumed it was her sister using a lame pseudo name to protect her anonymity. Wasn't until much later I learned they actually were sisters. Though Savana seemed not real interested, so I didn't get a dance. Which was dumb, because aside from the gross areolas (which really make me wretch.) I think they're both pretty hot.
