Not everyone can be a Pulitzer Prize awardee in literature or a walking thesaurus. Their own limitations shouldn't discount what they can offer and bring to the table. It's hard for me to find what I like in that group, so I usually stick to the "mainstream" girls you'll see on CG. I'm making my "mainstream" stand at the 300/400 (standard / BBFS) price point. A good deal of the girls you mentioned all charged less before. Jamie as HD Jamie and Ellena as Lovelyangels / sweetangels Tia were much much less. In supermarket comparison, I'll lay the extra 2 dollar inflation for a gallon of milk but I won't pay when they start charging for more than milk. Just grab a gallon of water, keeps you hydrated. The photos and the relative stats on the booker's pages, as well as past reliability of the booker, give a general impression of what to expect.

Fuzzy logic requires human intelligence. Solipsism is an easy way out. If none of this is useful for you, then feel free to ignore it. But personally speaking, it's all useful to me. I never expect the actual thing to be exactly the same as marketing, whether it's a kgirl, some girl in a Motel 6, or a TV. Yet marketing is never devoid of information. If a reviewer or ad of something consistently exaggerates an aspect, then I know from experience where they stand relative to my own judgment and go from there. That's why compulsory worker's unions exist, a thing I bet most of you don't like. When market rates increase, people who think it's still worth it pay, and people who don't don't. However, for mongers we don't have the option to just up and leave. Aside from SJ / East Bay, no other place in the country has the selection in LA anyways. So if you move to Virginia and get a cheaper rate, it comes at the cost of seeing the same 2 kgirls every season.

On the other hand, the girls had the option to remain with M and SFK bookers, but more and more are choosing upsell agencies like CGLA. Which sort of makes me doubt your theory that girls just want business. Yes, maybe some of them don't mind volume for optimal cash flow, but it seems just as many if not more would sacrifice business for an easier day. Either that, or they're not losing an appreciable amount of business even with the upsell.

Frankly, about 15 years ago bb was a privilege afforded to regulars, so the price actually went down massively in the last decade for what we're getting.
