I used to have a J gf, but for me, it's still hard to tell the difference sometimes, because some of them have darker skin, athletic build and look more K or see than J, but that's very rare, and I'm not talking about K girls who claim to be J. This one absolutely did not look J at all. More like a cross between Ph, V and Thai. I used to seek out J girls like it was the cat's meow, but they just don't do it for me any more. Outside of Japan, all I've had in years of being in the hobby was that gorgeous J-K at the late lamented Golden Day, name somethng like So-Jie. She seemed in behavior more K than J but she said she had both languages perfectly, K mother, J father. But here's a concidence to mention: just before she dropped out of sight, the marvelous Julie, about whom others were just writing, spoke to me some polite formulas in Japanese. Pretty sure she was ethnically K- but she seemed to have lived and probably worked in Japan. Not exactly a comfort woman in the present sense of the word, though she brought me and many others much comfort.

Easily 90+% of the girls who are advertised as being Japanese are in fact Korean girls who learned Japanese while working there.
For me, it's not too important whether the girl is Japanese or Korean, as long as the service is good. But for some reason, Japanese girls are a fetishisized here, which explains the false advertising.
Economically, there is no real incentive for good-looking, younger Japanese girls to work here since they make more money in Japan. Most of the Japanese girls I've met here were older (40+) or rather average looking.
