I actually do. Lenny is essentially a functional illiterate. If someone had bothered to help him out when he was younger, he would be a lot better off today. I can just imagine this guy in a job interview.
Sure, I can understand what he is saying, but does that make it okay? Imagine telling this to a teacher, who is trying to educate our children. Hey; I know my child can't speak correctly, has trouble spelling and doesn't understand the proper use of certain words, but who gives a rat's ass, as long as you can understand what he is trying to say?
Everyone in this country should know how to read and write properly. It's sad that a grown man does not know the difference between "your" and "you're" or how to use them in a sentence.
