Anything you say can and will be used.
Seems like decent advice, aside from the bare minimum cooperation required to keep things civil, saying as little as possible is the one sure fire way to not unwittingly admit anything.
Agree.
While there has been some heated discussion on this a few years ago (eg whether to bring items or leave them in the car; what LE can and can't do, etc), I believe since one doesn't personally know the officer(s), they cannot know what their behavior will be like or how they choose to administer their police power.
I'm sorry to hear you got restrained like that. At least ms knew they were "coming", and you and the girl didn't find out when the officer actually barged-in. I was lucky; I cooperated and they did no such thing. However, the flavor I got was that if they saw me again, I'd get hauled. Even if it's just questioning (to make things unpleasant for me), I don't need any aspect of it (from being detained, loaded into the police car, taking tons of crap from officers at the station, just plain consumption of my time, etc etc).
Other members reported the officers were "professional", but in my experience it seemed the guy was looking to make me say the wrong thing as he was rather antagonistic.
Once they're there, they're there. All you can do is roll with it but I highly suggest NOT giving the officers any attitude, or lectures on the law, or claims (which could be construed as threats) about how you know lawyers.
CC AMP's still in business?
With the very sad closure of Mayflower, does anybody know how many AMP's are still open in CC? The only 2 that I know of are Moonnite and Hello Kitty and I haven't been to either of them. Are there any more? Do any of them compare in cleanliness and quality to MF?
I prefer CC because I've been a regular at MF for a couple of years and I've become familiar with the building and how to discreetly maneuver in it.
