My first post!
Why would anyone think that!
So yes I'm sure there are some here that think they winning favors by say I saw on blah blah blah whatever. However you'd be wrong to think these women don't all ready know about this site and others.
When I buy a car or some other item, I do my research on the car's price, reliability, etc. I usually then research which dealer has the best price. Nobody shows up at a Toyota dealer expecting Rolls Royce prices for a beat up 30-year old car. I see the information on this board and others much the same way. I want to know if the service is worthwhile, and I want to know if the service is priced at a point that I feel reasonable and within my budget.
Just as I would never do the car salesman the "favor" of letting him know I did my research, why would I tell a service provider that I did research on her? I just don't understand that mentality.
I feel like it's likely not coming from white knights
Don't get me wrong, I would prefer frank and open exchange of information with nothing off limits. Sadly there are way too many white knight cucks around, eager to be someone's pet.
I suspect the majority of instances where someone is reaching out to anyone being talked about are either fellow sex workers, or in the case of non-pros, someone who was previously talked about here, and felt insulted about being discussed behind their back, so they are trying to make others aware.
I don't however discount the crassness and stupidity of hobbyists who just treat sex workers strictly like objects and make no effort to treat them as humans providing a service.
For me, I try to share my info in a way that avoids being crass or demeaning towards anyone.
