You heard wrong. Like Webcams said, when various factors are combined, you can be assured the girl is not LE. Specifically:

1. Never pick up a girl on the main street. Always on the side street out of view. ALWAYS!

2. Never pick up a girl standing in one spot. She needs to be on the move.

3. Never talk money when a girl is outside a car. This point cannot be emphasized enough.

4. If a girl gets in your car, you drive away, she touches your schlong, you touch her tits....there is no chance in hell that she is a cop. None whatsoever. There is no female cop in the United States that would allow you to drive off and let you touch her tits. None. Zilch. Zippo.

You will have to pass up on some decent poon to follow the above, but I've been doing this 13 years and I've never been arrested or cited, and stopped only once on a fluke(UC LE by chance drove by my car while I was getting a BJ).

I have been on the Fig track for years and have seen it go from paradise to ghetto jungle, it has it's moments but I can't tell you enough how careful you must be these days. It has gotten to the point that LE is not even hitting it as hard leaving the criminals to have there way.

Not all but a good number of the "pimps" are simply gangsters from the hood nearby, the only problem with that is that there are several well known gangs who cross paths along Figueroa and these aren't pussy valley gangs, these are the real deal. They lack the finesse of Real pimps who know the safety of there mongers is premium because without the monger there is no cash.

I am one step away from calling for a flat out boycott of Figueroa, where no one heads down there till they police themselves.

Let the low ball locals have there way and leave the quality monger out to hit the strip joints and escorts and c.l.

Sum things up, if your new to the game keep out of the Figueroa corridor, if your an old timer Watch your P's and Q's Stay sharp it ain't easy out there as things have changed dramatically, from murders to shootings assaults robbery although this is the norm for the area it has never been directly affecting mongers as much as it has the last few months.

Yes, things are tough these days on ol PIGUEROA, but if you are in control, and don't jump at anything in a short skirt or daisy dukes, you can still monger.

I'm like you... I haven't cruised Fig since August. As for LAPD, and as far as their Vice units are concerened, they claim they are against comitting a violation to get a violation, but who freakin' really knows. It's all speculation.

One of my regular Harbor Blvd. SW's I used to see got popped by Santa Ana PD, and she told me the whole story. She said that the UC was very convincing from the start, and had zero hesitation when asked to grab her tits and punani. She grabbed the package back, but once she offered a service for a price, Boom! Busted!

They were apparently scoping me out with a BSW on fig between imperial and century back in early July this year.

Was f'n ridiculous that they put that much effort into an attempted bust. Then again, it was like around 6pm on a Monday so maybe that gave them more reason to want to clean the filth during prime time evening hours or something. I got out of it unscathed and much wiser (& immune) for future pickups, so it worked out for the better learning from this experience: D

Vice will go to great distances to tail you just from seeing you pick-up a suspected SW. They were in a civilian van and dressed in civilian clothes other than their necklace badges. I absolutely had no clue they were on me until they blocked me in my driveway. It was quite embarrassing during that 15-20 minutes of detainment and I am so glad my local landlord was on vacation that week, LOL

My roommates told me this was a close call lesson learned warning from God that I should stop. Ah, if only I had the will power. BTW, I lost both of my roommates in October (partially due to my addiction of bringing girls home late night, I'm sure).

Yeah, I take that same route going to work in the morning and heading home in the afternoon, but haven't seen much to go for in the past weeks.

Personally I have had slight run ins with LE and local people or pimps getting mad so I have these rules I usually stick to like my life depends on it.

1) Always make girl get into the car. Once she does ask her to let you check her out and respectfully touch her private. The main reason I do this is sometimes girls will hit the track with no intent on having fun, they just want to put you into a bad situation to get robbed. If she has this in mind no way will she let you touch her privates. Be respectful though, you have no right being a pervert until buisness has been completed and if you cross the line it just makes it harder to do this in the future.

2) NEVER let her pick the spot. Two reasons. One like Webcams said they can be putting you in a spot to be setup. Also to be quite honest not all the girls are the sharpest tools in the shed. They may pick a spot they feel safe in but the two of you are not safe. I have had a girl insist I go to a certain hotel only to get there and find a pimp works his girls out of that hotel. Needless to say she had a very rough time there as did I because I was with her. She called her pimp crying about the place he told her to go and he really did not give a shit about her and only wanted to know how much money she got.

Following these rules does not clear you of all the crap a monger can deal with but atleast these rules can put risks to a min.

I know LE and some girls read these forums so I have not posted the stuff I just did. Quite honestly I am not as safe from either when I let people know what I do and why I do it. The main reason I posted it is because I plan to no longer monger.

The sad thing about LE is even the worst they can do is not as bad as what we risk every day we monger.

And for what? Because we still have not found out how to seperate religion from state? Or maybe because some people feel maybe their sons and daughters will pick this route and they want to law to be another control mechanism for their kids?

Look LE has enough problems with all the drugs, violence and wackjobs.

I quite honestly do not know if in a perfect world if everyone would want to monger or if no one would want to monger. All I know is in a perfert world everyone would have the freedom to choose one way or another.

Just f*cking wit ya, I know what you mean. I have the same problem with the religion bloc at work. If religion works for you and makes you happier in your life good for you, but if you think that heaven exists, you are delusional. These laws are restrictive and stupid, as is keeping marijuana illegal (know I don't smoke it) and allowing alcohol to be legal. Neither of them is more addictive, unless you have the genetic predisposition to it, and then you would have a problem with any substance.

I have said this all the time, I haven't car dated in over 15 years, yeah the notel proprietor can be in on a sting and call the cops as soon as your in the room with the girl, but they still have to prove that its for money, or they have nothing. If they creep up on you (which is what they do) and catch you doing anything in the car, even just groping and kissing apparently, because they will lie to make an arrest, your cooked.

Car daters beware. Maybe we can start an underground list of motels whose proprietors realize that they rely on our business and won't work with LE.

First let me say that this only applies to after dark, if you car date in the daylight, you got balls brother!

First of all, be aware that LE isn't interested in a mere prostitution bust if they target you in this manner, they are going after the big ticket, i.e. Lewd Conduct.

You pick up the girl, as you turn down a side street and get fairly far down the street a car behind you flashes its bright lights, not for long, just a quick flash so that LE can record your license plate.

Then, no matter how many turns you make, they follow you. When you park, they make a u turn and lead you to believe that they are gone.

They aren't! What they are doing is parking their vehicle, then they creep up to you on foot, shine the flashlights into your car from both sides, and you are screwed.

They get you out of the car, cuff you , and then they call for a BW car to take you to the station for booking.

No way you are getting out of it, even if you saw then coming and had your pants pulled up before they reached your vehicle, they will just lie about what they saw in their report.

Best case scenario, you get a good lawyer, plea bargain down to solicitation and it only costs you $15,000, lawyer fees, fines and oh yes, penalty assessments, in essence you pay for your own bust and court hearing.

Friends don't let friends car date!

Perhaps DL or WC will care to offer a different opinion, this is after all a forum, I don't have the only voice in it.

First off I should have known better, as LE was all over that night. I had picked up a SW, drove a few blocks down, then turned down a residential street. I went against my own rule, as this street was directly linked to the track. No excuse, just poor judgement on my part.

I got to the end of the street, where I flipped a U, then parked next to a wall. I had turned my lights off, then was reaching in the back-seat for my window-shade. When I looked forward, the SW noticed a car coming towards us without it's lights on. Shit! It was LE, and he was already too close for us to recline the seats and/or start up and speed away. Instead, we attempted to exit the vehicle as if we lived in the neighborhood. The second I went for the door handle, his spot light was already upon us.

It might have been a blessing that he stopped us before anything had happened. Still, we were questioned/baited to explain what we were doing. Simply put, it was raining outside and I offered to get a girl out of the rain. That's all I said. He took our licenses and went back to his patrol car and was obviously pulling up info on his computer. He was there for a good 15-20 minutes. I knew I had nothing to worry about since I have no priors. On the other hand, I had no idea about the girl's previous record?

Finally, after what seemed like hours, he returned with our licenses and stated that we were getting off with a warning, but not before he took down some information on us. I was polite and cooperative, but literally said nothing, other than I offered the girl a ride to get out of the rain. The officer seemed to question her more about her choice of profession and warned against the dangers. The only thing that was a bit uncomfortable was that we both had to give him a thumbprint. He stated that it was simply for that particular PD's internal records and that since I was NOT being cited, that it could NOT be used against me. It was simply a notification to other units that if I/we were to ever be stopped again, it would show that I had apparently had "intent" of soliciting a prostitute.

I'm not a lawyer, but it's pretty sad that in a world of violent gang infestations and dope pushers, that LE spent nearly 45 minutes repromanding two adults, sitting in a car, doing nothing.

Bottom line: I was able to drive away, go home, and sleep in my own bed, and for that I was thankful. I guess for LE, the cop was pretty cool, but it's a hard pill to swallow when they take themselves away from serious crimes to talk to two consenting adults. I'm just grateful that I didn't go to jail, and I'll leave you all with that.

If you're going to continue to cruise, just remember that we are not immortal. I had several close calls in the past year, and I should have let those be warning signs, but I had to take it one step further. I believe the interrogation worked as I have zero desire to even get close to places like FIG, LBB, Holt, HB, Colorado, etc...

G-Damn, thinking back, that LE came from out of nowhere and I usually am very aware of my surroundings.
