What's the current covid environment now in Las Vegas strip area casinos and restaurants?

I think business was returning from covid shutdown, but now this damn variant seems to be a threat.

If you're local or have been there recently, what is it like out on the strip? Busy? Quiet? Do any places have waiting in line to be screened to get in?

GB40.[/QUOTE]Most of the casinos / restaurants are about 75% of peak right now. Many restaurants and stores on the Strip closed during the pandemic and nothing has come back. Everywhere is short staffed. So the service is slow. Walking on the Strip on the weekend you won't notice a big difference. Masks are mandatory. But you see plenty of idiots walking around mask free inside. There is no screening anywhere except a few questions when you check into a hotel.

I spoke to a nurse acquaintance leading up to my trip, and she stated that the hospitals are 95% occupied. Some places with only 1 or 2 remaining ICU beds. So take that into account as well.

Especially the cloth ones everyone is wearing.

Anything under an N95 or KN95 mask is nothing more than THEATER to remind us all of the "deadly plague around every corner" so Big Brother can maintain and extend control over the populace.

Everything is short staffed due to the big government vote buying giveaways that take away any incentive to work and that are decimating small privately owned businesses.
