And the site has a financial incentive to keep the providers happy.

As the recently departed Charlie Munger (RIP) famously said: Show me the incentive and I'll show you the outcome.

P.S. IIRC, some PD providers offer discounts for positive reviews. Another incentive that might be good for the individual monger, but bad for the rest of us!
