Most of the providers are comfortable with it because once you send it, it's irreversible (unlike PayPal where you can dispute later. Plus PayPal itself will steal your money at the drop of a hat). You have to be smart with it, though. Never, ever EVER send payment before someone gets there because that's guaranteed you'll never see them. And don't send payment until after services are rendered (I do a 50% deposit for some providers, but even that is rare). Of course, my CashApp doesn't have my real name.

I think we're ultimately going to a cashless society so might as well get ahead of the curve.
