Another scammer
Profile pics are of an Instagram "celebrity" and actress named Carla Fernanda Avila: https://members.seeking.com/member/c2f1c904-c6a9-4a00-b388-77490c9ab3a8..
Too bad, because it looks like she has a rocking body to go with that face! Google her name or profile pic and you'll see what I mean.
Cheers,
Scott.

Nice synopsis
I have hobbied for over 20 years now in Chicago. I'd like to say I've seen it all and done most of it. Feel like the hobbying scene is drying up here too. Visiting providers charging absurd amounts. The suburbs used to be a haven of nicely priced GFEs. Many of the same tired ass providers from years on still at it and they weren't even that much fun then. Scouring BP ads is becoming a pain in the ass as so many girls just spam every city into their ad so you keep seeing the same ads over and over. I needed something new. Decided to try out Seeking.
It's been an adventure. Didn't really know what to expect. Some guidance here and I was off. First off, you can really get lost in this thing intially. Unreal. I was on my phone so much. If only iOS had the app. The barrage of Venezuela and Columbia women faving you is almost obscene.
Don't really get the point of all the far out of state women faving me too. For what, an online relationship? Please.
Nice synopsis. I'd advise you to keep hitting it hard til the subscription ends though. I re-upped on SA early December and it was brutal for me most of the 30 day. A few days left, I was thinking maybe I should switch to escorts. Then only a couple days before the end, I found a good keeper that made all the previous 30 days effort worthwhile. It's the second time, over 4-5 times I've joined, that I found a good keeper in the last few days. Not sure if it's my intensifying efforts or just dumb luck but I will take it!
And yes, you are correct about the general disinterest of most of the girls. Keep in mind they're getting tons of messages, a deluging downpour of dicks every day they log in. It allows them to adopt a "meh" attitude towards prospective SDs. Most of us are probably disposable, really. Yes, there are some studs, younger, better looking dudes that stand out and may turn their head, but most of us just got to realize we're generally fungible to these girls. Especially the more attractive girls.
I've only tried escorts a couple times (not counting the couple SA girls who I suspect may have been escorts LOL) and yes, not nearly as much work as SA. Definitely more a sure thing there.
I'll rejoin though. I enjoy the hunt and the chance at some lower mileage girls. I enjoy rolling the dice with no reviews on these girls. Like someone said "SA is like a box of chocolates, ya never know whacha going to get. ".
But I never knew the really good days on SA, only been doing it a couple years.
I think you summed it up perfectly. I also go back decades in the Chicago scene. My experiences started with scouring the printed Chicago Reader for ads, then partook in the early online agencies (Foxy Lady, etc.), moved on through Craigslist, Backpage and Seeking up until now. I definitely agree it feels tougher than its ever been. Around 2015 in the peak of the Backpage years seemed to be the best, where you'd have your pick of young GFE providers for 150 hh / 250 hr. Obviously that's gone, but for awhile Seeking seemed to open up a new wave of young willing girls. The price points were a little higher than BP and it was always more footwork, but the girls seemed sincere about the 'mutual benefits' approach to things. But yes, now its really gone downhill, probably for good. There's always a few honest, willing girls on there, but then they do usually come with compromises on looks, body, etc even if they're fun behind closed doors. Covid was obviously a huge driver, but I think there are some other factors:
No iOS app and a crappy Android app. This funnels out a lot of younger girls. It seems strange to our demographic, but some of these girls never touch a browser or desktop / laptop and function only in the world of mobile apps.
Social media 'influencers' leading them to believe every sugar arrangement is a bottomless goldmine of low effort money and gifts for them.
Yes, agree with most of this, especially the thing about the phone apps. IIRC the availability of the SA phone app is being choked off by PC / legal pressure on Big Tech? Which leaves the website / PC browser world, which is overwhelmingly skewed to the older crowd. Probably a factor in prices going up. The demand (Older SDs) are on PCs / web, numbers staying the same (unless we die or get caught by our SOs LOL) while the supply (younger SBs) are only on phones. Anything that discourages phone access will discourage activity from the young crowd. Kinda sux!
I think the OF thing is also a big factor. I had a recent conversation with someone in business who mentioned OF as a reason he can't find anyone to hire for his warehouse work. I didn't expect to be talking about OF in a business conversation. LOL. I had to feign ignorance, but he told me he held a brainstorming meeting with his current employees (20-somethings) about how to generate candidates and to find out why more people weren't applying for working there. One of the things the workers mentioned was OF and that girls could make tons more $$ doing that vs having a real job.
. IIRC the availability of the SA phone app is being choked off by PC / legal pressure on Big Tech?
Apple chose to not let the SA in the App Store any longer due to the nature of the app.
Which leaves the website / PC browser world, which is overwhelmingly skewed to the older crowd. Probably a factor in prices going up.
The SA app got pulled by apple years ago and the pricing surge started what, 4-6 months ago, so there's no correlation here.
I think the OF thing is also a big factor.
It's not. People keep saying this but there's very little truth in it. The average earning of an OF account is $160/ month. The thing with OF is you need to find your own subscribers, there's no promotion of girls on the site. It's not like IG where you'll just find stuff by hashtags or algorithms. Girls with big IG followers, famous people, etc bring those with them to OF so they can make money at it. Escorts and full time hoes have a following, but lets be honest they were never going to work a real job anyway. The average college girl? She doesn't have a fan base, she's not going to advertise on twitter or whatever. She's not going to recruit friends and family to her OF. It's just very difficult for an average girl to accumulate followers and OF subscribers. 99% of those that even try will give up and not make any money. I know of the hundreds of non pro every day type girls I've met / communicated with from SA not a single one does OF. (Other than the spam / pic seller types).
FaFaFooey hit the nail on the head. "Social media 'influencers' leading them to believe every sugar arrangement is a bottomless goldmine of low effort money and gifts for them. " This is 100% the culprit.

Recent Resubscription
All these recent posts are somewhat encouraging after renewing my sub as well. I gave it a shot a couple years ago, hooked up a couple times then went back to the MP scene. Like Vic mentioned, I too decided to renew now that I've reached a point where the MP scene just seems old, worn out and crusty. With prices going up for beat up, older talent I felt it was time to go this route. With the MP scene, even if you find an UTR gem, it takes time and money to get where you want to be and that's not even a guarantee. I know the arrangement game takes some work but the results have so much more potential. Wish me luck and I will try and post my successes.

(Other than the spam / pic seller types)..
The decrease in SA quality and quantity is definitely not due to * Very few of the girls I've been in arrangements with would even consider OF as an option. Some 20 year old sorority girl or 24 yo graphic designer would never even consider the idea of publicly doing pornography that their family members, co-workers and classmates might subscribe to or stumble upon on the internet in 20 years.
The causality might go the other way. I've definitely met some girls who were college-drop-out types where the barista or babysitting gig wasn't cutting it who tried * and didn't make much money, but the selling nudes online broke the sex-work seal and made them open to the idea of dating men for money.
I think the issue with SA comes down to this:
-The pandemic and general environment has lots of weird effects. Stimulus payments. Higher minimum wage. Low unemployment. More living with parents. Less going away for school. Less need to buy stuff. Less spring break planning.
-The downfall of Backpage has made Seeking dirtier. The sugar-curious normals who log on are getting propositioned by mongers and are less likely to meet a charming businessman who wants to buy them dinner.
-Fewer sugar daddies. Business travel has dried up, hotels are half empty. Many offices have been 2/3 empty. It's harder for many guys to sneak away or justify meeting with an SB. Girls on the site say it used to be way better and it's hard to find an SD now. Strip clubs get a lot more dancers when the economy is booming because there's a lot more money sloshing around to be spent on dancers. Less demand from SDs means the site is less appealing to SBs.
-The app store removal is a real problem. It's harder to sign up when drunk at a party and it's harder to check. And if it's on the iTunes store then it's not sketchy--it's legit. If it's been banned from iTunes then it seems sketchy and it makes girls feel less safe.

Not too long ago, sending someone money through Western Union or Moneygram was a form intensive process that included exchanging a lot of personal information. Now a girl can include her cashtag in every interaction and sit back and watch the results. It's a lot of work to recruit 50 guys to put up $10 per month OF subscription. Getting 10 suckers to CashApp or Venmo a girl $50 for 'gas' or her 'phone bill' or 'food for her kids' can easily be accomplished in a week with a little sweet talk.

Said she's not into kissing at all, and really doesn't care for intimacy, but looking to get paid, think she wanted 400 for like an hour. Seemed nice enough, but fuck no I'm not paying that much for that kind of experience.

Well, all markets mature out, and become more transparent and efficient with time. In a new market, previously niche, growing rapidly more mainstream, more participants (particularly inexperienced participants), there's always inefficiencies and information deficits that can be exploited. That's probably what SA was til recently. Now with social media influencers and other online info, girls talking with each other, maybe the girls are finally catching up and are armed with the data to make them more discriminating sellers. LOL. Guys who had the information infrastructure already developed for other types of mongering were able to quickly size up SA and pounce to exploit the market inefficiencies on SA.
So maybe the social media influencers and other online info just sped up what was going to happen anyway, ie, the sellers are a bit more informed. Maybe the gravy train has run out. So when these girls discover in reality the more likely scenario for most of them is a couple hours at a Motel 6 with some horny old guy for $3 instead of being whisked around town in a pumpkin chariot and showered with gifts and wealth, where do they go? A real job, or to the online options?
And as far as app availability, didn't Google pull the SA app from their play store about 6 months ago? If that actually happened, just another impediment that reduces access and forces extra effort from the group who you're trying to attract. It's akin to instituting a cover charge and abolishing half price drinks on ladies night, watch the swift transition to a hot dog fest LOL.
Fact is, who really fkg knows. Everyone here has some good, valid opinions and anecdotal data as to why this has happened, always something I haven't considered, and likely it's somewhat a combo of all those factors.
But I would argue that guys who don't need a constant flow of quick hits with new SBs, it's still a decent option.
