My experiences started with scouring the printed Chicago Reader for ads, then partook in the early online agencies (Foxy Lady, etc.), moved on through Craigslist, Backpage and Seeking up until now. I definitely agree it feels tougher than its ever been. Around 2015 in the peak of the Backpage years seemed to be the best, where you'd have your pick of young GFE providers for 150 hh / 250 hr. Obviously that's gone, but for awhile Seeking seemed to open up a new wave of young willing girls. The price points were a little higher than BP and it was always more footwork, but the girls seemed sincere about the 'mutual benefits' approach to things. But yes, now its really gone downhill, probably for good. There's always a few honest, willing girls on there, but then they do usually come with compromises on looks, body, etc even if they're fun behind closed doors. Covid was obviously a huge driver, but I think there are some other factors:
No iOS app and a crappy Android app. This funnels out a lot of younger girls. It seems strange to our demographic, but some of these girls never touch a browser or desktop / laptop and function only in the world of mobile apps.
Social media 'influencers' leading them to believe every sugar arrangement is a bottomless goldmine of low effort money and gifts for them.
The MeToo movement. It of course called out some really corrupt and predatory behavior, but it also had a side effect of stigmatizing even the best intentioned consensual arrangements, and I think its made this game a non starter for many of the girl next door types.
A newer wave of young male members who use the site as a Tinder alternative and aggressively negotiate prices for acts. Its maybe not the worst approach for just getting to the point with some girls, but it also can drive away some more of the 'nice regular' girls who would respond better to the more traditional approach.
But its still a lot of fun when it does work out, even if its more rarely, and a definite step up from Listcrawler these days, so I still take a stab at joining up for a month here and there and collection some numbers to see what happens.
