The selection will not look like anything close to what you find on FIB. I've had some really good luck over the years in the Bluff.

The Lakewood stroll has been a disappointment ever since they closed that gas station. I rolled thru there a few weeks ago around midnight and it was empty. Just as I was driving by the store on the corner, a cop riding a bicycle and helmet came out of nowhere. That's when I packed it in and headed for Glenwood.
Speaking of Glenwood. I was out in that area this past Saturday around about 1 pm when I spotted a short dark-skinned woman with thick thighs crossing the street to Buddies. Lakewood has been dying slowly, since they have been redoing houses to sell, and when you start seeing people walk dogs late in the evening (not pitbulls) it was only a matter of time. Then the coner store get shut down for code violations, the gas station gets busted for everything under sun. Theres 3 murders in that general area within a month. Yeah I would expect there to be a presence.
Besides for the bicycle cops who park near family dollar and ride the side streets there is also a black undercover vehicle I noticed twice in the area. Lakewood is getting less and less reliable just as metro is currently where you may find 1 or 2 but when people start buying houses and cleaning up the neighborhood they want to protect their investment so they will call the cops at the drop of a dime.
Similar to Lakewood the bluff is having some revitalization. Right smack near all the SW they are building a new park for the neighborhood. So if you haven't noticed they are more APD presence around and the SW are on different streets in the area now. But some still stick to that same street and house. Just keep your head on a swivel as both Fulton and APD likes to drive around the area. Now do not fully get discouraged as opportunities will make themselves present you just have to be there, early mid morning or before night falls is the best time, plus you call tell from a distance if its even worth your time to slow down.
The bluffs have always interested me, because I assume it's a heavy drug area with extreme poverty. Basically a zombie buffet like wcr.
Sounds like a great place to hunt for cheap and good BBBJCIM sessions. Wouldn't mind loading a couple downtrodden mouths.
