Other shop owners, their customers, local churches, neighborhood association, and others might have filed complaints to DPD and the mayor's office. DPD won't just ignore these complaints and will investigate for possible prostitution. I suspect they might send in an undercover cop but don't know for sure.
Another possible factor could be that this was part of some ongoing federal investigations into human sex trafficking and the FBI asked DPD to raid the place. But, I have no idea if any local FBI agents were present for this raid. These are just some thoughts.

I'm good friends with an couple AMP girls. One in the business one not anymore. Both have told me that cops in uniform are in and out of their shops at least 2 to 3 times a month. They harass these ladies because they aren't aware of harassment laws and are often here on foreign visas with no other means of income. Unless they have enough cash to open a restaurant their options are pretty much AMP or waiting tables at dragon buffet. Where LEO abuses his power and our money and what truly makes him a creepy piece of shit basted is YES. They do read these these and other forums for leads. BUT they also participate themselves in getting extras as their evidence. Once their shitbag asses have gotten their rocks off a few times on the tax payers money. They go in arrest the girl's and any guys who might be caught in the act. I know Because my friend who is no longer in the business got busted and she told me when her shop was raided. She remembers seeing the cop in their who she gave a hi to on 3 occasions. But they had the nerve to charge the poor girl with a felony so he could get his pathetic dick off. Its going to go on for as long as we take it as a society. Only when we're fed up and pissed off enough to actually do something besides talk about it, will it ever stop. I knew as soon as you all posted about the shop it wouldn't last long.
