Alright, thanks for the advice everyone, I followed the advice as best as I could. Just broke my proverbial cherry so here's my report on my first strip club visit.

Went to Paradise at about 1:00 PM, (and after psyching myself for about 10 minutes) got in with the free pass, with a paid drink. Brought along $150 and swore to keep it under that as much as possible. It took my eyes a few minutes to adjust to coming in from the bright sun, but once you're inside, it's more than well-lit enough to see who you're talking to. Kind of quiet when I first stepped inside, about 5 other guys sitting around and about the same number of girls. Stuck around for about 2 hours though, and by the end, it had grown to about 12 guys and probably about 20 girls walking in and out of the back. Busy yes, but I still wouldn't call it crowded. Lots of good talent, white and latina, most of the girls there hovered around 7/8 with a few very high 8s. I was actually surprised at how good some of these girls looked. And yes, the waitress will ask you every single time a girl sits down with you if you want to buy her a drink, but they accept "No, thank you" with any problem.

Took a seat along the wall across from the nude section and actually took a while to get approached. Total damage:.05 for mandatory drink +.4 with Berlin +.4 with Abby +.1 for Jackie +.02 to Berlin = $0. 97 for two hours and a relatively good time. Alright, I think I included everything. I didn't get to try out any extras. But still had fun for my first experience and will probably be back and some point in the future.

But it is personal to each patron depending on the speed he's comfortable with. I personally count these clubs as co-favorites presently, but they are different experiences. What they have in common is it is difficult not to leave a load behind. They just get there in different ways.

Paradise is a sprinter's game. The dancers get right down to the core or hardcore right away. For an older guy like me who enjoys a slow buildup, sensuality and tease, this isn't always always the right speed. Only a couple of Paradise girls have ever given me a smoldering sensual lap dance where you can go from slow simmer to rolling boil in time. If I'm not careful, I can make the 30-45 minute drive from L. A. On a Saturday afternoon, enter the club at 2:30 and my business is done at 2:42! Yeah it was fun, but I'm looking for extended pleasure and the slower the build the greater the explosion with more of those good feelin' hormones shot into the system to make you feel good the rest of the day. If you have a half hour left as part of a lunch break quickie, well yeah, this is perfect.

By contrast, Flamingo girls will work you slower. More of a long distance race than a sprint but at $10 per dance, you don't mind. Not to mention that they are doing everything sitting next to you at the table that they do on the lap couches. So fewer girls ripping at your zipper and pulling condom wrappers apart within the first 2 minutes, but it can be a long and very hot and satisfying ride for lots of laps around the track. You also get to taste and caress and grind with a number of different girls instead of making a big investment in just one or two who will take you to the finish line.

But that's me. Each to his own. It's all lots better than good!

Btw, DVCOI makes a good appetizer before you go to Paradise. It is cheap dances like Paradise - the 3 for 2 $10 dances are incredible value for the $20 investment and the $100 30 minute VIPs on Thursdays is as good a mongering investment as you can make in SoCal - again if you choose the right girl and don't throw in too big of a tip. You may well not make it to Paradise as plenty of DVCOI girls can get the job done for you, but like others say, this place is the least predictable for mileage. If you walk out stimulated but short of the mark, drive the 1.5 miles over to Paradise and 12 minutes later, you're done.

Adelita Bar (AB) has long been the most famous hooker bar in Tijuana's red light district, la zona norte, though it is no longer the no. 1 gringo go to joint in Tijuana.
