The case began after a relative reported Monday that a 17-year-old girl said she was ordered into Jackson's car on Dec. 18, driven to another location, and assaulted. The girl said the officer had been wearing his uniform and driving his marked patrol car.

On Tuesday, a 21-year-old woman told detectives she'd been assaulted under similar circumstances the previous night, Monroe said.

Both of the reported incidents happened between 11 p.m. and 2 a.m. in east Charlotte, where Jackson was on duty.

"It is profoundly disappointing when one of our police officers engages in such heinous conduct," Mayor Anthony Foxx said in a statement. "It obscures the fact that the vast majority of our officers are dedicated, hardworking people."

Monroe added that "it would be naive" to think others had not been assaulted by Jackson, according to a report Thursday in the Charlotte Observer.

The police chief reportedly released Jackson's photo at a news conference in the hopes that other potential victims will come forward.

Taxpayers in Mecklenburg Co. are supposed to be asked to pay this guy 10 million dollars ? I hope this is a joke ? I wonder how the young girls that were attacked by this guy feel about all of this ? Is everyone in charge of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg police department that crazy ? "Forcing him to become inflicted with this compulsive sexual behavior". I hope the taxpayers will stand up and put a stop to this crazy thinking. If someone commits a crime (or 2 crimes) ,we should award them 10 million dollars,surely this is a joke ? However, presuming that these two incidents are legitimate, just imagine how many liberties this officer has taken with "working girls" on the street or ladies in MPs that see themselves having no recourse for fear that no one would believe their word against a fine upstanding CMPD officer...

Do you think that a police officer would take advantage of a situation (like that)? Nah, most cops are NOT into the control thing. LOL

Made it around a few areas tonight. Here are my findings (or lack thereof):

1 Old heavy WSW around the Bojangles and Statesville Rd bridge over I85.
This one must have been desperate in the cold b/c she almost came out in
front of me to get me to stop.

1 heavy Perox-Bld around Lasalle/BF Rd.

Leo portable hi-rise in gas station lot at corner of Graham and Regan.

Potentially 1 BSW (medium) and 1 WSW (thin but couldn't tell age or
whether she had any teeth b/c of hood) walking toward possible handler
on Regan near Tom Hunter.

1 WSW walking with handler on Tom Hunter away from Regan. This one
looked interesting, but with the handler on her hip and a one-eyed LEO
coming around the curve ahead, not worth the risk. Made another loop
and encountered a couple more LEO and the one-eyed one again on Tryon
and gave up. Never saw her again.

As for L&L in charlotte, last time I went there it was horrible, one of the worst strip clubs I've ever been to. Things may have changed but I doubt it. Again, check the strip club thread for more reviews and discussions.
