I lived in the ATL back in ‘92 – ’97. I was a pioneer of sorts, a straight man living in midtown the last three years, surviving the Olympics and Feaknic (do they still have that? ).

I remember those days when you could cruise Ponce and who knows what you would find: girl next door, ex-model junkie, dancers etc. It was a time where it seemed like country hotties would flood into town on the weekends and pick up a little cash by turning a trick or two. I remember picking up a chick in the Kroger’s parking lot and on the way back finding out she and her husband where driving back to Kentucky from FL and ran low on cash.

If you had cash, you could find something really hot around 14th and peachtree. Man, it was monger heaven.

Bt this isn’t a post about reminiscing, it’s about how some SW like cockroaches survive no matter what. I was cruising ponce last week and saw this tall thin blond. I pulled into Wendy’s and she came by and I couldn’t believe it. I can’t remember what this chicks name is but she is the wacko that was on COPS. I remember dating her back in 94 or so when she was 19 and her attitude was bad then.

I dated her once more 97 or so and she was so wacked out that as I crossed an intersection on North by the Chevron station she tried to pull the keys out of the ignition, stopping the car, at 2 in the morning. I had to backhand her to get her out of the car. Surprised to see her out there 11+ years later.

Another surprise was a SG named Sky (I can’t remember what her name was back in the 90s, but her real name is Linda). What a wreck. I remember when she was fresh to the streets in ’95 some guy almost ran into my car because he was so pissed that I picked her up first. She was so hot and nice that she was like a GF, well a GF that was a crack addict. Again I was just surprised that after almost 14 years she is still out. I passed on her services but sat and talked with her for a bit and bought her some MickyD’s.

I ran across one more girl from the past (This all happened in one night! ). Her name is Paige. I did pick her up and she is looking pretty good for being on the streets at least 11 years. She was in pretty good shape and was coherent and could carry a conversation. She was surprised that I remembered that she went to U of Oregon, and other stuff that we used to talk about back then. This is a good example of the diamonds that ponce used to have. She was a hottie back in the day. The first time I picked her, I went home afterwards and could not get to sleep and went back and did her again.

Sorry for the length, but mongered all over; Orlando, NO, Las Vegas, Hollywood, Tijuana, and can’t remember the old timers staying on the street that long.

Great post ... I had similar experiences in those years of finding quite a variety of girls in that hood. I did accidentally pick up a few trannies, too, but there were plenty of real girls, too. Don't know if I'd remember any of them like you did; pretty amazing.

Just got back from a trip down fib a few girls out and about and saw 5 at the travel lodge and had a little fun with a cute blk sw well worth the $ 40 it cost ,should be a good night .

I was on the corner of Durant trying to turn right onto Ponce at the red light. (Those of you that know the light, know how much you are taking your life in your hands to not wait for the green signal.) Along walks this stunning cute petite mixed chick, not looking like anything pro, but in a sundress out for a stroll. I got brazen and said hi to her. She came over and chatted and asked if I wanted to go back to her place for a drink. I did, in a nearby apartment, and she walked back while I found a place to park.

We got a tad messed up, and she gave me the most incredible head I had ever gotten at the time. We parted ways with me getting no more than a feel of her pretty fake tits in addition the the BBBJ.

I found her on the net a few years later as - you guessed it - TS Heidi.

Funny story. I had given up mongering after leaving the Navy. I was in ATL before moving there and saw a story on TV about the stroll on Ponce. I was bored and drove down the street (this is 93 or so). This was when the higher end SW hung out past Krogers.

I saw this goddess in shorts on the corner and she turned me on so bad I stopped. It was stormy, and back then she was incredibly hot. I got sticker shock as she wanted 1. 5 (YIKES! ) Needless to say I passed.

I did date her a few times over the years with mixed results. One time I had her over at one of the nice hotels downtown. After blowing me she said she needed to go to the bathroom before we had sex. After about 15 mins I knocked on the door. I quickly found out why her name is stormy, she was smoking crack and once she was high she got paranoid and I thought she was going to cut me. She made a pretty good scene on the way down and got so pissed she took off when we got to the garage.

I was back in town in ’06 and saw her in the afternoon, still looked pretty hot in jeans. I picked her up and went back to my room. You see the two pictures and if you knew her way back when she was in her 20’s can tell all the wear and tear on her. She kept saying we had to hurry. As you can see she is wearing a leg monitor and had to be home by 7. Stormy being stormy, asked me to stop at the Office Depot (staples? ) there on ponce. Went to FIB last Thursday around 2pm. Hung around for a long while and all I saw were fat BSWs at the TL. It seems like they're getting bolder, standing outside the door in red lingerie. Trolled over all the place.

The second time she calls, my girlfriend picks up the phone; (I'm somewhat shitting my pants) crazy SW claims she had the wrong number. 5 minutes later, she calls again. My girlfriend tells her no "David" owns this number. Then came the text messages, which my girl saw BTW: "Whats going on baby are u cuming to see me :) Fantasy," "Goodmorning baby...Fantasy." Called again in the afternoon and insisted some guy owned this phone. Attempted to describe me to my girlfriend and she got it wrong, which was when I was in the clear with the ladyfriend. Called a few more times and placed last call at 10pm.

SUNDAY

Called a few times again on Sunday. Her pace had slowed considerably but I wasn't in the clear yet. Gave it one last shot around 10pm and still no answer from me.

MONDAY

Sent me a text on Monday morning that I found later and she hasn't attempted to contact me since.

MORAL: Holy shit, this could have blown up in my face big time. I may get in touch with this girl in the future but [b]I will definitely be using a payphone.[/b] Brave souls into cheap BBBJs and FS pm me for her number-- she could definitely use the business. :)
