It is easier for the girl to get an STD from giving you head than for you to get an STD while pleasing her. Plenty of literature from WebMD and other sources to support this. As far as my own experience is concerned, DATY, and sometimes DATO, are part of the mongering fun for me, and having included it in my repertoire for several decades without incident, I won't be investing in dental dam stock anytime soon.

Risk is variable. If you have unprotected sex with drug addicted street walkers, the risk is much higher. These providers tend to have risky behaviors. Shearing needles with others has compounded consequences, such as Hep B and C, HIV. They also use bad judgment when on drugs or starting withdrawal, in that they'll do anything the John requests to get " That" next fix, not to mention these girls can turn 30 tricks a night. A much higher rate than your typical MP girl. My suggestion is if you have a significant other at home use protection always. You don't have to buy Rubber Dams from a dental supply. Plastic food rap will work just as well.

Sticker & Dildo Baggens -- Thank you gentlemen for your insights, both reassuring and cautionary. I do have a long-term SO, and needless to say it will be "game over" for our relationship if I get an incurable std or pass along any std, curable or otherwise, to her. I know that I must accept some risk as a monger, but I think for the time being I'll greatly reduce the amount of dining I do. I can't really complain. Today I had great FS with a young hottie even though I decided to forgo the oral pleasures.

It was long thought that condoms did not provide protection against the human papillomavirus (HPV), however findings from a recent study prove that condoms do provide some protection against HPV.

The study, done at the University of Washington, found that women whose partners always wore condoms and did so correctly decreased their risk of being infected by 70 percent. Women whose partner wore a condoms more than half of the time, but not always, were fifty percent less likely to contract the virus.

HPV is spread through sexual contact, meaning no penetration is needed to contract the virus. Even if condoms are worn during intercourse and worn correctly, there is no guarantee of 100 percent protection against HPV. This is due to a condom covering only the penis, leaving the rest of the genitals uncovered. During intercourse, these unprotected areas can come in contact with the vagina.

It never goes away but can go into long periods of remission, as far as the warts go, and also tends to peak in the first years of infection.
