When I have been to Yini, it seems pretty busy but that doesn't mean they are financially sound. They are adding an additional room as well. I thought it was owned by someone named "Wendy", but that could just be an intermediate person. It is somehow associated with Swan.
There are others I have been in once, such as massage angel or massage dream, where there was one or two girls and no one else shadowed the door while I was there. I know they are open 12 or more hours a day, but seems it would be tough to make the rent on something like that.
When is Yini normally busy? Every time I drive by during a weekday, I see maybe one or two cars in the lot.
I would wager that the majority of the Chinese Parlors are legit and not fronts. Some get enough traffic to keep their doors open, some actually make a profit; but many in fact do not make it and do close. Depending on overhead, which is pretty low considering your employees are paid based on productivity rather than a time sheet. It really doesn't take much to make these places profitable. Its much more likely the Korean Parlors are a front, but to be honest, most of them are simply brothels and are closed when the act of prostitution and its solicitation are caught.
Laundering money was the easiest of crimes to prove especially when considering that this was indeed a brothel. The report illustrates that LE was conducting surveillance and undercover operations; which translates to, they caught one or more of the providers in an act of prostitution."Money laundering is the process of concealing a source of money obtained by illicit means." In this case, the money was obtained via illicit means and through surveillance was discovered to be not reported or transparent. In Georgia, if you are in a business activity or working for a company doing illegal business you are automatically associated with that activity regardless of whether you actually committed a crime. Generally speaking, a conspiracy is an agreement by two or more persons to commit a criminal act or series of criminal acts, or to accomplish a legal act by unlawful means. In Georgia, you are guilty by association. That means that all employees and the owners at the time of the bust were pretty much guilty of prostitution and laundering money.
Also, any customer who was in that place at the time of the bust would probably be arrested as well.
Here is what I want to know, what LE got the job of "undercover operations"? According to the article it took 4 years to close this place down. That means whatever agents were in the proverbial "position" to be the undercover LE were doing it for 4 years. I WANT THAT JOB!
Cheers,
Di.
If you had no customers, you could log on your paper (which I see the Chinese places doing) x number of customers. Even if you were giving legit massages in the back, you could record a higher number of massages and deposit the money, pay the rent (and the percentage rent for retail places) and maybe the taxes and clean-up your money from something else. It would be really easy and convenient if you needed to do it.
When is Yini normally busy? Every time I drive by during a weekday, I see maybe one or two cars in the lot.
Generally, around lunch (it could be 11 or as late as 2) when I have been there. Maybe I just pick busy days. I have seen 5 or more cars there not counting the one pulled up in back facing the store. You have parking options on either side as well.
This is a run-down on a legit place, so you might not be interested, but this is what I know. They have 7 girls in rotation and 1 or 2 are off on select days. It seems like the keep a few and rotate through a few pretty regularly. I always ask who is available, and look at the chart behind the counter. Things have probably changed, but when I was there two weeks ago following are the options. Don't go with Kimmie, she is old, terrible massage, and a tease. Linna is the best massage, young but good with skill and pressure points-no teasing, always feels professional. Lucy is similar, but not as good. Sophie is tall for a Chinese girl and service like Lucy and I think she looks pregnant. There are two more older ones, one looks mean (Nicole maybe, I was surprised it was chosen for an American handle) the other is Rosa (maybe she has relatives in the Philippians, what's withe the Chinese choosing an 'R' name). Rosa looks like a Chinese mom, gives a good massage and might tease. Nicole gives a good massage.
Kelly was good, she moved to another store in Atlanta somewhere-no extras very legit, and good massage. Let me know if you (the collective you) find her.

Kelly
Kelly was good for a legit massage for sure and she is currently working at that new AMP off North Shallowford Road, just north of 285 and south of Chamblee Dunwoody Road.
I read the macon article, and it said none of the working girls were charged. It sounds like the 'owner' was an absentee living in Atlanta and the 72 year old was the person running the show at the storefront. I'm not sure about the third person, but it included interstate charges and money laundering, so I suspect it is part of that. With all of the fed agencies involved, it sounds like the 'massage' part of the business was the least interesting. As you might expect, they didn't find any human trafficking either.
Just my 2 pesos. One of the reasons we have a shortage of young Asian masseuses is due to L. E cracking down on AMP's all over the country. L. E claims they are cracking down on human trafficking, so the various distribution networks of girls moving around the various AMP's have been disrupted. The people at the top who arrange for the gals to enter the country are being arrested. Unfortunately for us we are left with older masseuses who most likely have their legal residency papers in order. They get arrested and are back out at another AMP in no time flat. Another reason is the economy in South Korea, the gals have much better career opportunities in South Korea than over here. I expect in the years to come to see many more Chinese AMP's opening up rather than Korean AMP's.

Argentinian Beauty?

I called, didn't like the attitude, I asked where she is, she has TV running in the background and I can't hear her at all, I told her that its very noisy her end and she should consider turning the volume down or step away so I can hear and she hung up.
Wondering if anybody has any experience with her.

I invited this one over this weekend for a sensual massage. 120 for the topless massage. Not a bad massage, decent pressure with baby oil. HJ ending was only available option. Full nude with B2B slide was an upcharge, and it just wasn't worth it. Pics are accurate, rack was nice. Very nice girl, very personable. It pretty much was your normal massage with HJ ending on the flip. I probably would not repeat because there is better value out there, but I did not regret giving her a try. She is a sweet girl who was very professional. Right now, she is outcall only, based in midtown.

What I gathered was that you were implying any employee and / or owner of a placed "busted" for prostitution for hire, could also be charged with money laundering. AND, any customer in the place at the time of the bust, whether caught in the act of solicitation or not, could also be charged with money laundering? If true, that takes mongering from a misdemeanor and public embarrassment into a whole new class of legal charges. You really sure about all that?

St James Spa visit
I needed to do something last night, so drove around the city checking out the late night spas, since I couldn't get ahold of Collette from Backpage, and ended up at St James Spa. I understand that it used to be called Fuji.
I pull up, and there are no cars, so I started to wonder about the place. I went it and was let into the back area for my 30 minutes. I am waiting and wondering if I am going to get to choose who I have give me the massage, but a lady walks in to give it to me. She is somewhere between 40 and 60 years old, tits down to belly and barely speaking, like she had way to much to drink. Anyway, I tell her 30 minutes and she say "money" I give her the amount told to me, and then she says "tip now." At which point I was ready to leave, so I pulled out from one pocket, another 4 and she says "more" I said my wallet is out in my car, which is the only way to do it. So, she leads me up front tells me to get my wallet and come back in and use the ATM that is in the spa. Needless to say she wanted another 8, so I went to get my wallet and left.
I have yet to master the art of "holy shit, your at least 60 lady!" and the art of "are you really this drunk?"
After that, I will be waiting for the weekend, when my favorite massage lady Karma returns from her vacation. If you have not seen my reports on Karma, this lady is the best massage lady ever. Gives a real quality massage and great ending. I've seen Karma for about 3 years now and I have never been disappointed.
Oh well, maybe I just need to try the New York Spa or just wait.

Oh well, maybe I just need to try the New York Spa or just wait.
Oh LoganSt, that is one of the saddest posts I have seen in awhile. On the one hand, thanks for the update on the talent you encountered. But on the other hand, that was painful to read. If it is BS, congrats. You got me. If it is true, you need to step waaaayyy back from AMPs and revisit your approach. You gave her house and tip and then left without even getting massage?
Everyone has their own process for what works for them and hopefully some will share their tips with you in due time. I like to think I am pretty non-confrontational as well. But even I would not put up with that type of attitude and business approach. Others that post here, often are much more, um, assertive in their approach. This is one instance, where I would be interested in how they would respond to such a situation.
For me, the operative point was when she said,"tip now." Your response could have been,"for what?" It could have been,"not sure what I want just yet, let's start the massage first and then decide." It could have been "so sorry, I don't feel comfortable here anymore. Let's forget the massage" and hold out your hand for your money back. The point is that it could have been many things that did not involve forking over more money. And that is what I am suggesting you step back and think about.
Lastly, while Karma does offer a good massage, I would also suggest you search the forum and look up Jasmine. If nothing else, you will get the type of massage you are seeking and at least have an opportunity to listen to her about how AMPs work from a non-monger's perspective.

You probably wouldn't like New York NY Spa either as the last time I stopped in, a woman of the same age as you found at St. Jame opened the door in lingerie. A blind man would have rejected that. One more question: Why didn't you check out Aroma Therapy next door? They usually have better talent than either St. Jame, New York NY or Spring Spa. Been hit with plenty of offerings that have been hard on the eyes but still good to stop by these places once in a while if in the area. Never know when the occasional (rare?) gem may pop up.

Had my eye on this one too. I'm sure it's TGTBT. Been watching this page to see if its worth the trip down to ATL.
