One man's grand is another man's pocket change
That's my take as well. It is such a weird flex. I mean I worked security at diamonds for years. I've also had next to fwbs relationships with alot of "working girls". I can tell the "big spenders". It doesn't get you any added respect. With most of these girls the more you're willing to spend the more pathetic they think you are. I think some guys think it works the other way around. But it doesn't. Sometimes I think guys who have that kind of money to blow enjoy doing so as a signalling thing. And it backfires in this hobby. You're seen as a mark. An easy target. If some of these big spenders could only hear the way these girls talk about them behind their backs. No hole is worth 1,000 dollars. To me it's not worth half that. But it's never been hard for me to get it for free. I just don't like seeing guys get taken advantage of. But if spending that kind of money isn't hurting them, and they're happy to do so, then it's their decision I guess.
And that's a fact. High rollers could give a flying fuck what a hooker thinks about him or says behind his back. I've know a few of these guys in my lifetime and they're all about the show throwing money around having, a good time, buying drinks and trying to get attention. Some of them have so much money that a grand to them is $20 to you. I knew a guy that had a yacht with monthly upkeep / docking / crew was $18,000 monthly, on top of 3 country clubs he belongs to. You think he cars about paying a hooker $1000 or what she thinks about him? These guys lose more gambling in one night than you make in a month. Everyone finds their own comfort level in this hobby and what they can afford. They don't care what anyone has to say about it either.
You do you, they do as they please.
