Two to three years ago I was getting some action off of SD4 Me. However over time, it seemed they were just copying new profiles from SA. I sent out a barrage of approach messages one month and then went back and counted the number of messages read. It was less than 80%. I spot checked some of the profiles for the unread messages. They all were profiles that logged on one time and then never again. Of the profiles that did read the message, I got only a few responses and they were all from women who also had profiles on SA. Basically, SA has positioned themselves as the highest bar on what is typically called a power curve. When new sites try to start up, they have no way of quickly building a large base of active women and must spend heavily to keep active new women signing up every day. I no longer waste my time on other sites but remain open to trying them if enough seniors endorse them.
