You can terminate after each time you pay, so as to take it off auto-pay, which I have done. Or after a few months of auto payment.

You click on your pic in the upper right corner once you have signed into SA.

Click on settings. On the left side of the settings page, click on payments.

Then click on "Cancel AutoPay" appearing next to "Payments" in the middle of the page, and you are done. It confirms that you have cancelled autopay.

No Shenanigans or Tomfoolery!

Either it was a fluke or a very weird coincidence but I had not had a scam charge for over a year and had not traveled in the last 6 months. I'm pretty sure that SA would be concidered a less reputable service so my first thoughts that it was related to that SA charge.
