Sounds like it was just a really bad weekend overall. I visited Wax, Fannies, and Vivide Friday around 8-10 PM.
Wax. Good selection overall. Just wasn't feeling it.
Fannies. The few gals out there sat with their regulars and never moved.
Vivide. Got there about 10:00. After paying parking and entry fee. I was literally the only one there. Not a single dancer. Bartender said it will start to pick up after 11 pm. I was so pissed I left.

It changes at night and the place empties around 8 PM. That happened to me several months ago.

To clubs were always Mardis Gras, Oasis, and Follies. Now all of them are closed. I know Oasis has a letter up saying it's a temporary closure, but I'm not optimistic. The strip club scene in Atlanta has taken some hard hits in recent years. Thought about checking out some massage parlors, but after recent events that doesn't seem to be a good idea.
Yall get to club Vivide tonight. They celebrating somebody's birthday. It's pack with girls! Ratio is like 5 girls to 1 guy.

I miss Chloe.

If I was running for office, I would run on strippers, hookers (not street walkers), and weed should be legal and not hassled.
I went by there today and the parking lot had lots of cars which clearly implies the place is open again.

Hey guys I know this is long shot but there is one follies girl that was amazing and she was working there for a while before they closed. Hoping you guys have seen her at another club. She is Latina with dirty blond short hair about neck length. About 5'5" with a big rack. She had a few tats but doesn't speak hardly any English. She would use Google translator. She is usually very tan with sun spots or freckles near her chest and neck area. She worked mid afternoon shift before they closed and use to work early afternoons before that. Oh and she drove a Camry. Damn it wish I knew her name. LOL.
On the recommendation of Sgt Lurker I made a stop into Vivide yesterday around 3:30. Plenty of parking and $10 to enter with a very nice doorman. The vibe is very laid back. Upon arrival there were roughly 8 girls and maybe a dozen customers. By the time I departed at 6:30 there were maybe a 12-13 dancers and 20 customers and it was picking up. One dancer told me her shift ended at 8:30 so I guess that's the transition to nightclub. Mix of dancers with about 50% AA and then a couple Latin and the remainder white. One big white lady but past this the quality was as good as any of the other spots I frequent on the southside. The mileage on the dances was high for me and from what I observed. $10 per dance. No bouncers poking around getting into your business. I was told that extras were available but I didn't get into all the particulars. The old Follies floor manager seemed to be in charge but his interest in what's going on during a dance seemed minimal. In general, the ladies ran from a 6 up to an 8. There were a couple small framed AA ladies that had my attention so my stay was longer than planned. Danced Nova about 18 dances. Super slim AA with a pleasing personality and good skills. Said she was 96 lbs but I think she was maybe 10 lbs heavier. Not going to appeal to everyone but just my type and a solid 7 on my scale. So in summary, I will definitely return and can recommend this as a low key alternative to some of the AA clubs that have the DJ's constantly talking and telling you to throw money which really detracts from the vibe I'm trying to experience. Would mention that a pretty Dominican with huge breasts and a good body was all over me the moment I arrived. Her English was not the best but she was grinding hard on me at the bar with her hands everywhere. She was in the 8 range. Wanted to mention it since there is a faction on the board that have a thing for Latin women. As always YMMV.

I was so pissed I left.[/QUOTE]I think the party usually starts around 1 am. Dancers are there earlier but nothing happens. I don't know why this happens. It makes no sense because the club is losing a lot of money that way. It's better to go in the daytime. It's not as busy as follies once was but fun can be had.
Hello thinking of visiting ATL next month and I was disheartened to learn follies is no more. What club comes close to having the same experience or at least allows FS?
