I don't always carry in these situations because of the risk as well. My biggest fear is while it is with my clothes, that aren't attached as well. I never take anything with me that would be a big problem if I lost it. Unfortunately, losing a weapon could cause all kinds of problems.

We post so freely here about our exploits, but the fact is sex for money is illegal. You are carrying legally out of concern for the dangerous elements that exist while you yourself are committing a crime. Doing this thing that we call a hobby is likely when I need the protection offered by CCW the most. But so far I have opted to leave it behind thanks to so many grey areas.

I am also concerned about the period of time that I am naked. Yes my belongs might be close to the bed, but it is not physically in my possession. I am trying to get lost in my enjoyment and not keep one eye on something valuable registered in my name. I have always been a believer in not taking anything into an incall that I would not want to loose through theft or otherwise.

I kind of wrote a novel here so sorry about that, but I am interested in the thoughts of others on this topic.

For amusement purposes I found my post from 2009. It's fucking crazy how this is from 9 years ago, but as I read it I could clearly picture every aspect of that event. The Cliff's Notes version: I was in Price Hill, lost 40 dollars, didn't get hurt and didn't have an event where I had to talk to LE trying to make my case that I was in fear for my life. I have been lucky with this being the only time being robbed, but I do my best to minimize risk.

Most of us are not going to risk our lives by getting into a shootout with some girl's idiot pimp-boyfriend over being robbed of a few Jacksons or a couple Franklins. What we do worry about is some punk blocking our escape route and that's when the "fight or flight" instinct of Mother Nature kicks in for your basic survival. If one of these tough guys barges into the room and demands our money and is blocking the door, then most of us in here would love to unsheath a nice piece of blue steel and show the scumbag who's boss!

But I do agree that leaving the weapon at home or in your car is the best idea unless you get a VERY strong Spidey sense that something bad could be happening at a particular location. Routinely taking a CCW into a provider's house or hotel room just strikes me as a risky habit that will likely end up being a very regretful mistake. Most of us in here do our research and try to avoid "bad areas" and the ripoff girls are quickly outed in here thanks to our rapid intel community. I have been mongering for over 8 years now and never been the victim of a robbery, although I do admit to sometimes wandering into a seedy neighborhood at 11 pm when I normally would never go there, but at that point I'm thinking with the engorged and tingly little head and he's braver than my real brain LOL.
