Thanks for all the advise, but no, no, and no. None of the offered solutions have worked for me. Ever since the camera ikon no longer showed in the search field after switching to "immage search", I can not get GOOGLE to search for pictures. I guess it will be tineye from now on. Bill Ho.

Go to google (I use a new tab for this to save my current location (image source)).
Right click in search box, choose paste. Image URL appears, hit the search icon. Then click on the search by image link. Done.
Right clicking in the GOOGLE search box does not give me an option to "paste". Neither does a CTL-V command. I'm ready to give up. Bill Ho.

I hve tried everything and have now officially given up.
Without the camera ikon in the search field, it's just a "NO GO".

Most of the time, I right click an image and I get an option "Search Google for this image".
It always works on backpage but on some websites, like eros dot com, block the right click. There's a "geeky" away around that too.

I also use FireFox. There's a FireFox add-on, Google Image Search, that will let you search an image, on Google, from FireFox.
