I love my handle but for awhile I've been going back and forth deciding if I should change the spelling. Most people call me Shoppa in PM's or when referring to me in a post so I pulled the trigger and changed it today.

The pic is self-explanatory.[/QUOTE]I had to go back a few post to find Dave's account of this. There is a scam involving Axis towing, Days Inn, the Shell Gas Station, Citgo, and Super 8 motel across from babes. There may be other businesses involved also so be vigilant.
The Days Inn has big rig parking and for many years truckers going to lunch would park at Days inn to go grab food from McDonald's or the convenience stores nearby. Well now say if you wanted to go in and grab your food to go?. Lets say that takes under 3 to 6 minutes. You will come out to find a boot on your vehicle. It's no surprise to find a boot, especially with the new strategically place small warning signs. No problem pay the fine and keep rolling right?
The real kicker is that it cost $500 to remove it. If you're in a big rig. That's too much money to loose in a day over BS. The trick is that they watch you get out.
The signs say do not leave the property. So even though you're 20 feet from McDonald's or the gas station and there is no where else for you park your rig that's considered leaving your vehicle. Same rules apply to the co-conspirators at the Shell station. If you park there and walk to McDonald's. You will be booted. $500 big rig, $100 for auto's. If you don't have the money the tow truck will come and more fees will apply. Now here's a suggestion. If you're a guest at Days Inn or Super 8 they're not suppose to boot you on there property. So if you see a boot hurry your ass up and go get a room, it would be a lot cheaper and you can argue that shit out with the hotel mgnt. (but act as if you didn't notice the boot.) Across from Babes at the Super 8 many drivers park on the gravel lot to go to the SC only to return and find the same result.
This is a warning for all motorist on FIB be aware of where you park. Mostly all gas stations and hotels on FIB have co-signed on with this racket. I spoke with a Fulton County LE Officer who told me from his own mouth that this is bullshit. These vermin take money from hard working people. Not the guys who park to find ass or get a BJ. But people who honestly only parked to grab food or get a soda or use the bathroom with no I'll intent.
(OK the people looking to get laid get screwed also)

Guys, it's that time again. Anyone have anything they would like to donate and I will see that the gifts will be given to some needy families and some in our own little USASG community. This is an awesome idea...I think we tried something for PW's birthday, but I understand not many takers. One of the agencies does this from time to time. I went, and it was very helpful.
