It's really simple economics and the old staying "Work smarter not harder" . These providers think if they raise rates they won't have to work as hard or see as many clients. Problem is as long as the clients agree to pay the higher rates it won't change and probably get worse. Now once the clients realize this and stop agreeing to or seeing the providers they will re-think it and more then likely rates will come down but only after the providers start losing business because of the rate hike. So, you want rates to come down? Stop hobbying for a week or two. When these providers have no income coming in they will be begging for business and more open to lower rates. Just my. 02 cents.
