I think we have not one to blame but ourselves -- or here is my complicated theory... PVD prices are among the highest nationwide, and locally (up here) we pay those prices or more for less service, because the alternative is driving an hour away. This has an overall inflationary effect that we have taken for granted.

I think we need to reverse this trend. A $30 tip for HR is good any where in the country but here -- and $30 Euro would buy suck-and-fuck in must European countries, and used to buy half/half around here.

I would love to see everyone limit tips to $30 and endure the nasty looks and protests; but if everyone did it, it would become the norm again.

Prices in Minneapolis are greater than or equal to here, I think. A hundred bucks just to get into the Revere place for an hour is outrageous too.

I agree that $100 is over the top, however, it seems like a growing number of places are trying to get you on the front-end (i.e., $80-$100 vs $50-60) so those cases the tip should be reduced commensurately. Thus $30 shouldn't be too far off -- total of $130 is on the high-end of fair in my opinion, for TS etc. And about $30 too much for your typical AMP experience around here (Angel, et al.)

I just noticed a couple of ads on CL and in the Phoenix that sound most interesting. One place in Newton (1977) and one in Wellesley (7152). They sound like they are most likely the same place to me.

They advertise Body Shampoo and 24x7 incall service.

Does anyone have any experience with them?

7152 is indeed in Wellesley, but have not tried it yet. Linden St. I think.

There is also another new one in Wellesley on Mica St. but is a regular business I think, not apartment girls. Have not tried it yet either.

How can we all unite to drive down prices? These are just ideas thrown out.

1. Boycot for some time days til?

2. Unity. 3 tip limit?

3. Multiple posts to CL on this

4. Call the AMP places and mention all the above.

5. Spend$ on post in phoenix?

6. No more good reviews or reports?

In all seriousness, for the typical MA AMP experience (of which there seem to be a lot more today) I do suggest keeping tips at $30 max.

There are all kinds of variables involved with escorts and incall services, and SWs are a whole other story.

But the AMP scenario is pretty standard. Susan set a good benchmark at $80 for 2 pops and a real massage.

$80 is a good price for the services rendered and I haven't seen any who are so superior to Susan that they warrant $20-$40 more. But that is what I end up getting guilt-tripped into paying.

But I am going to grow a spine and pay Angel only $80 (inclusive) next time I visit her. We'll see if she kicks me out!

Looks like there are two places on Mica - same building. One on 1st floor, one on 2nd (actually, according to the building directory, there are two on the 2nd but when I rang the bell on the far one, the door opened on the one closer to the stairs).

No one answered first floor knock.

Second floor - 2 asian women. First did not speak English very well. All she could say was "You want massage?" She got the other girl who told me .35 for hh (lower than I've ever seen). I didn't ask about full h. She said no extras, but I did not stay for the massage and get undressed. Maybe different story later on.

Heck, for .35, I'll definitely TOFTT when I have a chance.

Women were not horribly deformed and ugly, but were definitely not lookers. Don't know if they rotate.

For a $70 job I've tipped as high as $50. I'll happily continue to do so when I feel the girl has really spent an hour trying to make me happy.- in fact, I look forward to the day when a girl makes me feel that more is merited.

To me, there is one way to make a good massage even better: walk out the door feeling like a generous person.

You can find services in MA but the full "balanced" package of quality extras / massage has been my challenge. One usually is better at the expense of the other. Maybe my experiences from AMP's in Ct/RI have raised my expectations?

I tried the aamp scene in newton from a few PHx ads rotating gals with varying level of quality/perceived value from my point of view (grove st--- cedar the latest) "trick or treat" another was an aamp near the marriot. There were actually 2 different grove aamps the past few years. Same complex but neighboring buildings.

Yumi in newton near the pike initially a reasonable alternative for what I was expecting to pay but her massage skills for me have declined and she had shortened the sessions to get to the finish. I hope she stops gaining weight.

Jolene the baby oil champion of massages. Jolene actually could give a good massage but way too much oil. After she stopped working out of W Rox I just didn't like the other places. Nothing like feeling soaked in baby oil on a hot sunny day. Maybe I should have tanned before finding a shower! Also she tried talking sweet to me asking me to be her boyfriend and started calling on my cell. Serious boundary issues, but I have heard this was not unusual behavior for her.

Comm Ave area a couple yrs ago I tried a couple of aamp's near harvard ave that I would describe as generic fair massages but adequate HE from cute younger asian gals but not enough to get me back for repeat business.

There was a solo "independant aamp near the CVS on comme ave but she left sadly due to safety. The lady gave a pretty good massage w roaming/HE but she told me about a man who roughed her up because she was working in the same building "his girls" were.

Tried chinatown once got a decent massage with less than enthusiastic HE at this place on a side street right by the dunkin donuts/Mc d's that was in the same place as a beuty salon.

Since I doubt that they were the ones posting you have to wonder who is putting these ladies out there. Not too bright.

I take the article at face value. The police received numerous complaints. That's what the problem was.

Hey, I like a good AAMP as much as the next guy. But if I had strange men coming and going all day out of the apartment next door to mine, I'd call and complain, too. When lady friends come over and visit, I don't want them wondering why I live in the same building as a brothel. If I had kids, I wouldn't want them asking me what was going on.

Sure, the apartment was listed on CL -- but it hardly matters. Once the police receive the complaints, all they have to do is have a plainclothes officer go over and knock on the door.

Bottom line is anyone who runs this sort of business out of an apartment building is bound to get busted. The only way AAMPs ever stay in business is by rotating from apartment building to apartment building before the neighbors get ticked off.
