I knew a couple of girls who went to the greybar in and were used in any and all possible ways by Leo. (Or at least that is what they told me.)

You have to wonder how many young ladies, as students at universities, see an article like that one and say "$5000 a month for what I am just giving away for free now? Hell yes!". And too, how many graduates find their degrees aren't worth as much in the job market as they had expected, and they miss certain aspects of the biz, and decide to stay involved.

In a similar case the Crystal Lake police charged the assault victim with a misdemeanor, patronizing of a prostitute, charge. The attackers were charged with a whole pile of felonies.

Even if it was someone I knew, I would never do an outcall at my house. You never know how someone or something could come back and bite you in the ass down the road, even years later.

I totally agree. The providers in this hobby can be unstable and have some unsavory friends. You don't want anyone like that scoping out your stuff. There's a lot a person can learn about someone by entering their home, things that you may not want certain people to know. I'm not saying all, or even many providers fit this description but I don't feel comfortable with them coming to where I live. I know there's a whole set of risks associated with going to incall locations, but risk is part of this game and I guess all players must pick the risks that they can tolerate or sit on the bench.

I've never done anything BP related because I need to be able to see the person face to face and it just feels so risky either going to their location or having them come to your place. I don't live alone so I can't bring anyone over anyway but still. Thats why I stick to SW's

Hahaha SW are the riskiest IMP from, cops to stds to unstable druggies this is by far has to be the most nerve racking. At least on BP if you go this route you can get a referral or read a few review not fool proof but a better way to pick one. Safest has to be finding an under the radar girl who is willing to meet you first to make sure you are both legit. Then it's back to the car, room or her place.

I myself have taken the risk first when craigslist was still up and then BP but in my time in the hobby I've learned to do as much research as possible before making the call. When I found this site I was amazed at all the info on the hobby. I am still careful in who I see which also means I see very few providers, when I find a good thing I tend to stick with her until it somehow ends most times it ends with them leaving town or getting out of the business. I'm currently looking for my next atf / regular that will not be so much $ and has to be incall. As of now I've found nothing which has me thinking maybe I should look for a stable girlfriend. I don't like being chained but man I have to get laid. According to news reports, it looks like a couple of longtime sex shops might be going away. They are Kings Spa and Aces in Downers Grove. I feel a soliloquy coming up. Most cops I have ever known do not take prostitution seriously. They might themselves be users. They might be having an affair behind their wives' backs. They will waste time on a victimless crime doing the arrest, paperwork, and court time so that a few girls can be slapped with a fine and back on the street before the paperwork is done. Generally only the most serious and foolish girls see any real time. Most cops don't really care. But get a few religious zealots in political office or a few nosy neighbors butting into everyone else's lives and they create a problem. The biggest problem is that prostitution is not defensible. It makes easy arrests for law enforcement as it is not usually a violent crime. It is good publicity for politicians to show they are "cleaning up" a neighborhood- ignoring, of course, other less important crimes such as robbery, drugs, etc. No politician, wanting to keep his / her seat is going stand up in public and defend it. To those girls in Downers Grove who served us for so long and put up with the political BS and hypocrisy, I salute you and wish you well.
