What do you mean by "major hobbiest" on CL? It is a joke. It is anonymous and most of the things he refers to are second hand, hearsay upon hearsay. Sounds like either the competition or a stalker or maybe someone who has been ripped off. Or possibly its you on the moral right stinking up the place. Do you have anything to contribute? (oh BTW there is a section for CL reviews.)
And everything on CL is getting flagged as fast as it goes up, and has been for months now.

Finding young ladies in distress is not that uncommon. Some mongers cruise around specifically looking for a part timer or a gal down on her luck financially. I've always dreamed of a young one getting kicked out by her parents and me picking her up. Hasn't happened yet tho.

On the other hand, the post from craigs list, I believe is legitimate at least some of the number he mentioned were for people who repeatedly mugged or cheated other people as reported here and in other places, I myself got burned a couple of time. to my luck I wasn't mugged yet, but just over the month, my last three succesuve attempts ended up with...

a) one girl gave me an appointment in grandrapids and made me drive their, then when I arrrived therir she told me she had to change the location and directed me into a 2nd place then when I arrived at the 2nd place she told me that she is sorry because she gave me the wrong address and she gave me the "correct" address and when I arrived their she stopped answering her phone all together and I had to return after an hour of driving all over grand rapids, when I looked up the number witha wider search i found that this number did this to 2 other people in the same day.

b) the next time was a girl in lansing, gave me an appointment and all the way up till the last ten minutes she answered her phone and as soon as I arrived she never called back, and then found out that she did the same for another customer the same day

c) the third time I decided to have an outcall to my own place instead of driving to somebody, called a girl she said she will come in 20 minutes, then I waited and waited and she never showed up, and two hours later she posted another ad, I tried to call he but she kept hanging up on me.

That is why I am dead serious about cleaning Craigslist, from those scammers. I had wonderful expreineces in other plcaes with the first girl I call. but here is west michigin the situation is much worse

Hello Don, I see the name change. Don is a senior member and has shared with me. Thanks Don, its been awhile.

I agree wholeheartedly, our first priority is to remain safe as there are people who seek to take advantage of the fact that as mongers we are not necessarily willing to go LE. Even though the intel on this forum is often shady we must communication info on fakes, scams, and imposters. I appreciate the numbers and immediately began to cross reference with my own list. Ultimately we'll use our own judgment (for some people they won't be able to avoid taking a hit) but tidbits can make a difference. Stay safe.

Oh by the way, the issue with Nikki IMHO on the other forum is blown out of proportion. Yes, she may have got pissed off about a situation (which we will never know the real facts) but my experience was genuine and I can't wait to get back for some wonderful BBBJWCIM

Been cruising primarily between 6 PM to 11 PM the past two weeks and have not seen anything on Division from Franklin to 44th, Buchanan from Hall to 28th, the NW side on Broadway, stocking, & Leonard, and even took a trip down to the Black Hills (Oxford, Curve, Dorchester, Kensington SW). Does anyone know whether there's another time of day they are moving and/or where?

I have not seen GR this dry in a while; my funds are low so I cannot consistently hit CL & AMP. I need to have a steady .2 to .4 BBBJWCIM every once in a while. Can anyone help a fellow monger out?

I think my thing would be not trusting all of her drama and worried that if I trusted her too much, she would eventually take advantage and rip me off.

After a few days in a hotel I hooked her up in an extended stay and directed her to the social services and helped her with a month bus pass.
I like this girl, the only drama was that day when she was emotional with getting kicked out.
In the next couple weekends we are going to a swingers club out of town. This is almost the best of both worlds! On another note, this has somewhat stopped my mongering locally.

I've got family in GR and 10-20 10-20 years ago I always hit the stroll, in those days from downtown up to the hill at Burton Heights. I've noticed lately that it's moved south to 28th or even further. I was in town last weekend and never saw anything like as SW on Divisioin or Buchanan. Is it completely dead?

Made several runs up and down Division last night from 44th to Hall. Nothing much south of 28th. Saw several SW's north of 28th. Chatted briefly with one around Rose St. Couldn't get comfortable with each other, so moved on. Saw a couple of more that stayed within eye sight of their pimp. Not comfortable with that either! Finally picked up Tracy just south of 28th. Very enthusiastic BBBJCIM for. 2.

Anyway, back to this report. You all know if I spotted an 8,9, or 10 I would have scooped her tonight. Only thing to report were 2 on Division just south of Burton; 1 one each side of the street strolling in opposite directions. Along the XXX place was a short, fat, D's, pot-bellied, but very cute face, young 22ish, long straight dirty-blonde hair, wsw 5'1", with a smile, hello, and come-get-me look. Too large for my new discriminating profile, so I smiled back and rolled around the corner. Then other side of street was a 40ish, tall, medium lean build, curly black, long hair, nice shape with clothes on 5'7" wsw but too old for my "new" profile. That's about all I could identify as SP along Division from Hall to 44th and along Buchanan too.

Oh, and of course my mongering funds are at a new low thanks to fees, fines, towing, etc. But damn me, I do love the hunt!

Had a similar situation happen to me, did you get a Lawyer?
I'm wonder if they are following the actual law or just police ticketing people and the prosecutor pushing the plea bargain(for lesser crimes) knowing it will never make trial and the legality will never come up. The burdon of proof is supposed to be on them to prove beyond a resonable doubt.
The vehicle seizure is a civil matter not a criminal one so to take the vehicle they can use a hunch(more likely than not).

Stupid question.... if you get busted one time- isn't it more likely to get busted again and again? They can run your plates and see you have been ticketed for being a john in the past. IF you had to do it all over again how would you handle things differently to avoid getting busted?

Thats one thing that steers me to escorts. The risk of getting busted on the streets. Ypsilanti and Flint have newspaper articles detailing how they bust johns in stings recently.

She didn't appear to be interested, everytime I past by she was constantly digging in her purse and I was never able to make eye contact.

Where ON Grandville?

Went on the hunt this evening around 7 pm down division and saw 3 SW all south of Burton, 2 WSW and one HSW.

The one of the WSW was around 5'6" and about 130 with dark hair and pretty nice rack, the other WSW was about the same height and weight but with lighter brown hair. Both were about a 5 on the SW scale but I don't know for sure.

The HSW was on a corner a block south of Burton and was about 5'4" and 120 you could tell she was pretty curvy but not too sure, she was wearing a jacket. Her face wasn't that good looking, about a 3-4 on the SW scale.

Would have tried for one of the WSW but no $ right now to have any fun.

This was the most action I've seen around there at this time on night for a few weeks at least.

I think she is only out between 3 -7 am as I have looked the last few nights on and off from 10pm til 1 am and no sign. I know where she is staying but wont put it on the open board. Will share w/seniors.
