I've never been a fan of the PP so I din't know about extras there.

Went to Club Wax last night for a couple of hours. The club has definately made a few changes since I was there a few weeks ago.

They no longer do lap dances out on the floor, although now the girls can dance nude. I'm thinking that's a really poor trade off for the patrons. Those dances are still $10 each btw.

I paid $5 to park, which is new to me too. During the peak hours they normally charge $10 to park up front. But I just ignore the guys up front and park down the side of the club. I've never been charged for that, until last night. Funny thing was the guy walked in to the front desk with me and even wrote me a receipt. No suprise that they probably had a problem with the parking lot security holding back a bit from time to time.

I also noticed that I only knew four of the girls working. Something else new to me, as I pretty much knew all but a handful just a couple of weeks ago. I asked three of the girls I did know for the rundown on things. I was told by all of them that several girls were just recently fired. They said that some didn't want to dance nude all of the time etc. Take that one with a grain of salt. The girls also said that the place is still mananged by the same people, but they just tightened up a bit, and wanted to get some fresh faces in the club. ( Both patrons and girls)

As far as looks go, the club pretty much looked the same. The place was busy... well busy for Wax. I attribute alot of that to the fact that LE had a noticeable presence on FIB last night. ( See SW section)

Things are still the same in the VIP room. I did notice that the girls were asking more than they were previously. I've had no problem getting what I wanted for $$ in the VIP room. All of the newer faces were asking WELL over $ from the start. I told several that was never going to happen from me. Most complained and tried to talk me into it. After a few minutes, they dropped to right at $, and telling me to promise them more next time. Nope... move on please. The girls I knew were a different story. But I've dropped a good bit of moeny their way previously. So I guess I've bought my way into a reasonable price. Certainly nothing to brag about.

So in summary: Wax still has some really attractive talent. A good deal of the ladies would show favorably against any other club's dancers. Prices are creeping up fast for the VIP area. No lap dances outside the VIP room is a bad thing. Unless you are a regular, I would say that you could expect $200+ for a short evening with one VIP trip. The VIP room itself runs $20-$40, depending on the time of night and if they call a special on it for a quick minute. 5 to park, 10 at the door during prime time. Beers at 4 each, and of course, the rest if you take a lady for a VIP dance.

Yup the good old days of WAX (any many other things in ATlanta) are gone now!!! i remember when WAX had a party atmosphere VIP was $20 and the gorls were just having fun charging $40 for everything oh well

Had a good time, mostly because I wasn't expecting *any* extras out of it. Chatted with a bunch of the girls, but there's nothing there beyond eye candy. Maybe if I had $$$ to blow on private rooms and crap like that, but for that kind of cash I'd rather have a two girl massage at an AMP.

Still, for a strip club, it's a good one.

I believe Oasis has replaced Pink Pony as the no. 1 club in Atlanta. The quality of the girls are better and the girls are more attentive than the Pony. I have not been in Cheetah of a while. Therefore it is now I believe is the top clubs in Atlanta (not including the clubs on the south and west sides)

Oasis is definitely the best I've been to in the past few years in Atlanta. Let the Goodtimes roll. Just remember what Chris Rock said....unless you have a lot of $$$.

What kind of strip club laws do you have there? Is there lap dance grinding? or just dance in front of you, no touchy-touchy?

Is it worth paying extra to get taken to vip areas? or do you not get anything extra?

The "higher class" clubs will be a variant of the no touchy-touchy variety. Don't expect any grinding in a club like the Cheetah, Pink Pony, or even Oasis. If you stray off the beaten path to visit some clubs like Follies, expect your $10 dance to be money well spent.

I can't speak for the VIP areas, but you'll find answers in previous posts about experiences in the back rooms.

I've always wondered about the VIP rooms at less expensive clubs. I have spent $$$ "trying" in the VIP in other cities, with no real success. Someone needs to discreetly report on "x" dancer at "x" club who will play for about "x" price in the back. LOL

Pony and Oasis give VERY good table dances and the VIP is better, but I am not saying you will get action there, YMMV and if you are known. But grinding is to be expected every time I go to Oasis, and most of the time at the Pony.

On TV today, they are saying that both girls are strippers at a new club outside Atlanta. Does anyone know which club it is? That blonde is cute and 19!

Went there on Tuesday. About 10 girls. half white and half black. Girls about 4-7 quality. Decoration not much changed but valet parking for everybdoy, $3. You can get a coupon from the excitement magazine to get it free. This club is a neighbourhood type bar, easy going serving mostly regular customers. VIP rooms quite busy. People quite friendly.

This is totally different from the multimillion dollar clubs like the Cheetah, Pink Pony, Oasis and Mardi Gras.

There are some very cute new girls in Oasis, Paris, Brianna, Bree, Kim, Tyler, Nadia, Denise. Very pleasant. All 8's and 9's in my judgement.

The story had several quotes from a current dancer - I think they said stagename "Dream" - who said they had both worked there.

Surprised that Shooter has this quality. I have to go check soon. Have not been back for a year. I was kicked out last time because the brunette girl (one of the two) I brought with me had a grudge with one of the dancer before. I was mad they kicked us out.

Went here last night about 10PM till midnight. let me just say they had 4 girls and none of them was going around asking for dances. also on the scale none of them would rate higher than a 6, for a club that claims to be upscale it looks great but where are all the customers? not only that but drinks are very expensive. $10 for some coke and rum. Last weekend I went down to a place called Oasis. It was ok, but St Patty's day was overcrowded and there weren't enough girls (but there were a lot of girls, just more people). The lapdances weren't full contact like I used to love in Pensacola.

Is there a club near my area that you all could reccomend where the girls maybe aren't the hottest, but they grind on you a little, and it's not overcrowded.

Florida strip clubs offer a lot more than Atlanta club in general. For what you describe, you should forget Oasis, Cheetah, Pink Pony, Mardi Gras. They have to follow the law. I know there are people that claim otherwise. I am glad they follow the rules or we dont have any more high end clubs in Atlanta. The best clubs for you in North America will either be in Mexico or outside Montreal Metro area or the lower quality clubs in Atlanta which are mostly in Atlanta or on the south/southwest side of town. Well in general you'll get the best lap dances from the more "blue collar" clubs around metro Atlanta. From my experience in my almost 2 years of going to strip clubs the best ones tend to be the clubs that are in Dekalb County (not the mention they are the only ones open on Sundays). My favorite clubs where real lap dances can be had are Follies on Buford Hwy, Roosters on Burford Hwy (behind Shooter's Alley ... another strip club), Pin-Ups on Ponce de Leon. Over all Roosters has been the most consistent to me for getting excellent lap dances, followed in close second is Follies.

I still think Oasis is a great choice for extras in the V.I.P. rooms. It does however, get pricey. Just talk to the dancer you are interested in and get a few lap dances before going VIP. You can get a pretty good idea of what they offer before spending your $ in the vip rooms.

Short on time and cash, I decided to stop by wax this afternoon. Overall quality of girls was not as good as a year ago, but plenty of good talent. Good time, less expensive than amp, variety, and less total time spent. Down side is no massage, TS, etc.

I had some time to kill on Tuesday night and decided to check out some clubs that I had never been to.

I ended up at Follies first and the place was fairly empty. There was a fair mix of white, black and a couple of hispanic ladies in the club. The place was low key and the ladies not too pushy but friendly. From the previous posts about Follies I wanted to get an idea of what was available in VIP but I happened to be chatting to one of the ladies and she said that they were raided about 4 months ago and since then most of the ladies that did that left and the management was pretty strict. So I ruled out that option. Other people may have better luck than I did.

Anyway, for a midweek night it was a nice chill atmosphere and the quality was decent so I had a good time and left happy and not too much lighter in the pocket.

I then went up to Oasis and compared to Follies this place was hopping. It was night and day and I felt like all the personal attention I was getting in Follies was never going to happen in a place as crazy as it was. The ladies were hot but way too busy to spend any quality time with. I letft after 30 mins not that impressed.

I guess Oasis caters more to large parties and for me killing time on a Tuesday it was a bit too overwhelming. Just my opinion.

Me and my friend decided to visit strip clubs last Saturday. Went to Tiffany's at around 9pm. The place was like not even half full. Were disappointed with what was on offer. Mostly white girls and white clientele. Girls in the 6-7 range. My friend got a dance with a girl named Eva. She was alright. Nice ass. Spent an hour and decided to go someplace else.

Were thinking of going to Pink Pony but made a turn on Chesire Bridge to see if there were any action over there. Never knew that Platinum21 is on Piedmont and chesire. At the entrance we were almost strip searched. The guy said they had some problem about 6 months back and since than they were searching everybody.Went in there and lo and behold all black girls. Now I have a thing for black girls. I think when they do the strip dance nobody can beat their booty shake. Both of us had about 10 dances each and spent about 4 hrs there. Had a great time looking at those big booties and getting our monies worth. Liqour was served in a plastic cup, was told they had problem with people throwing on each other. We were the only non-blacks, but felt good so stayed. Let me state here that the girls were more forthcoming and friendlier than at Tiifany's.

I would like to know from the players that is this club a dangerous one to go to. Are there any good and better clubs which have black girls in the range of 7-9 or a mix of white, blacks and latinos.

Would appreciate if somebody can respond.

Club Wax. FIB and I 20. Mostly black club. Generally has some very attractive ladies.
