I just got in from Hartford and Wethersfield was definetly hopping. By hopping I mean 2 definate WSW and maybe 2 more. HPD is by all mean keeping activity to a minimum.

Happy to help out a fellow Senior member, especially someone who comes from a city with such great BBQ (the Missouri side, that is).
It's too bad that you didn't come here a couple of months ago, since Waterbury CT (about a 20 minute drive from Farmington on I-84) used to be one of the AMP capitals of the USA. Unfortunately all of the AMPs were all closed down in a massive raid at the end of April.
As far as AMPs go, your nearest good choices are Best in Meriden and World in Wallingford, both about 30 minutes away. Or you could go to Bridgeport, 55 miles away, or Norwalk, 65 miles away.
There is a HJ-only AMP in Vernon (east of Hartford) but it usually closes by 9 p.m. There's also an HJ-only place in downtown Bristol, only 10-15 minutes away on Route 6, but I'm not sure if it's still open, and when it was open, it was hit-or-miss.
There are almost no non-Asian MPs in central Connecticut, most were closed down during the last few years. Closest is Tubs for Two in Meriden, very hit-or-miss.
As for the street scenes, nothing in Farmington itself. New Britain sometimes has SWs but they're usually drugged out. The street scenes in Hartford and Waterbury are normally better, but LE has become more active lately in both places.
There's also the ads in the back pages of the [I]Hartford Advocate[/I], the free weekly paper, plus Craig's List, many of these ads are discussed elsewhere here on USASG.
Sorry I can't be more helpful, but unfortunately the sex scene within a 50-mile radius of Farmington is fairly dead these days.

Long time lurker here, thought I would post a bit of a warning. I met up with a wsw on garden and sargent Saturday afternoon. Said her name was lilliana. Not bad looking, street 6. Anyway, we do the cop check, and come to an agreement. She seemed very nice so when she asked for the money up front, I went against my better judgment and gave it to her. First she asked to stop at the market on Ashley. OK I thought, she just wants to get something to drink. Next she says she has to stop at Sigourney park to get something to smoke. Again, against my better judgment, I stop and let her go. At this point, I'm just trying to come up with a way to cut my losses and get out. Then as we turn onto asylum, she says she has to get out and use the phone. She hops out, and as soon as she crosses the street, I take off. Was pretty PO'd but ended up picking up a cute PSW on niles for a GREAT time.
Hey guys, Just came back from a business trip and decided to pull off on Brainard Road exit and drive into downtown through the loop. On Weth. Av. Can anyone recommend a motel that has short stay option ( 3-4 hrs ) that is close to Bradley Airport?

Near Bradley? Short stay...not likely in the least formally. As you know, short stays are motels vs hotels. I am 99% sure near Bradley is all hotels or extended suites.
If you can get to Enfield, I think there is a Red Roof there. You might be able to get a coupon and get the room there for the day for $40 + tax. Last time I used the Super 8 (windsor locks?), it cost about $50. That was a year ago though, maybe two.
Not many cheap options out there.

There's a Day's Inn on Rt 75, just north of the McDonald's. It's not a short stay place, but it's the cheapest on that strip. I think I paid 60 or 70 there a couple times.

Not sure what your time frame is, but I find Motel 6 in Enfield a great place. Mon - Thurs is less than $50 (tax included) and check out is the next morning just in case you feel like an incall and then get lucky at MG or elsewhere, not that this has ever happened to me! Check out is nil..... I even left with the key by accident. Still less than 17 minutes to the airport or rental car return! Coupon book is also great, but of course does not include Motel 6 hotels!

There's also a Motel 6 next to Papa Gino's in Windsor Locks, right across from the airport. There are no "Berlin Tpke" type motels on Rte. 75, just a Doubletree, Homewood Suites, Days Inn, and the big new hotel right next to Dale Drug over the line in Windsor.

Wasn't the Alpha open and operating for, like, 20 years? I'm sure Hartford PD knew about the place for 19.5 of them. You know they let the place be until they were a) sure that the business had reached some sort of financial "critical mass" and b) they figured out how to grab the cash.
If both of those two scenarios hadn't occurred to this day, the place would still be open. It's never about prostitution, or cleaning up neighborhoods or anything like that... it's always about extracting the almighty $ from the businesses be it via taxes or otherwise.
When you see things in this light, doesn't it become clear that Big Brother is nothing more than an oversized pimp?

Actually, the club has been open since the 70's and the cops did know about it, because I have seen many an off duty in there as a customer. As for the drugs and violence, isn't it amasing that since all three clubs closed, the major crime rate has increased through the roof!!!

Not that I partake in SW scene but when I pass them I want you all to know where and when for your info. Weth. Ave. has been popping with many of them. Sitting on steps of an apt. brick house was a 30yo wsw brown hair. nice rack if it was real. got the look for sure. 2 psw walking together one was a bit hefty and the other had her thong hangin out. Flamingo is at the extreme southern end of the Berlin Turnpike. Okay little motel upon a hill. About a 1/2 hour from Hartford.
