Last night (Late Tuesday, early Wed am) seemed to be crawling with SWs in St. Pete. I saw two around LaMark, one around Cactus, two around Economy, two more around 1st Ave S and 34th, and 1 more down by Sundaze.

So, that brings the question part:

Is there a reason that they all seem to come out on the same night or is it just happenstance? I'm curious if they know something about lack of LEO activitiy on certain nights? It is my understanding that SPPD has a "weekend" for their officers on two days during the week that they deem to be low call volume days. On those days, I understand that there is reduced patrol in order to give most of their officers a break. I don't know which two days it is, but maybe Tuesday/Wednesday is the day. And maybe someone told me a wives tale and this "weekend" doesn't exist at all.

Anybody know the answer here?

With respect I must disagree with Member 1658. I have enjoyed his posts, and will continue to do so and maybe my observation is different. I was out last night as well just before and just after midnight. While I noticed some streetwalkers I also noticed lots of law enforcement. They seemed to be targeting the areas mentioned on this board. Rolling up 35th st at both 5th Ave and 30th Ave, parked in alleyways, etc. I have heard that Tuesday and Thursday are known as vice night. Since I heard this from SWs I never paid too much attention and try to remain vigilant on all nights, but I did notice a heavy presence last night. So much so I headed home.

There is always a Strong LE presence downtown when there is a baseball game. True this is for traffic control and they are all "off duty" when they work these games, but there are still a bunch of visible cop cars in and around the stadium area. There is probably a stronger patrol presence as well in the area to make sure the baseball fans are not robbed or otherwise bothered after the games.

I don't know how much of the presence on 34th is due to baseball. Aren't there only about 87 people at the games anyway? On a serious note, though, the bottom line is that they change up their activity just like the SW do. I've always likened the quest for the girls to fishing because you can go out the same time of day, the same day of the week from one week to the next and have completely different, often frustrating results. The best approach is to stay inactive when uncle is active. As many others have repeated throughout the board. Its better to be overly safe than to get caught up in a moment that leads to a bad bologna sandwich at the 49th street bed, bond and breakfast. Oh yeah--and one more fishing thought--always watch out for bad snapper.

Maybe I just lucked out and never crossed their paths last night. I'm not saying I didn't see a police car. I just didn't see anywhere near as many as usual and I saw a lot more SWs than usual. Maybe it was just my lucky night :)

If you see a cop stay out of the area.. They have plenty of undercover also. I saw the other day a so called SW at budget hotel and before you know it cops marked and unmarked where on this guy. I have no clue where the cops came from it was unbelievable. I still was shocked how many and how fast. I thought I would have seen at least one of them and they shot right in front of me to get the guy.

So when you see them or looks to good to be true stay away. We all know theres always another day.

I'm a dream I had today. I walked into my bedroom and there were 50 roses on my bed along with a hot retired gfe. Fs and then some. It was an amazing dream where everyone got off and had a good time. Looking forward to that dream again.

Please forgive me everyone, but I wanted to vent on a completely off topic matter for a moment. I saw no where else to put this post and wanted St. Pete to hear this. I wish the ref in the Wright v. Hopkins fight was my dad growing up. The whole fight he said if you do this one more time I'm going to take a point. But he never did! My dad would have cracked me across the back of the head in the third round. He should have too cause then maybe there would have been an actual fight. I would like to see a sports forum started where we could talk shit and discuss sports. Maybe that's just me. Well I feel better. Have a great week all.

We just hired a cleaning company to come to my house for biweekly cleanings. I came home from work early to find 2 very cute girls. They were extremely flirtatious and I was hoping to something extra. Has anyone ever heard of this deal.. I was sure something would happen but nothing but just a good show. PM me for details of the company, I am not saying this is a company that provides more than cleaning but it seemed like it.

So, who's going up to Lowell to pick up our girl Holly Heck when she gets out next month?

How does that work anyway? Will Corrections bring her back to Pinellas County since that's where she came from, or do they dump her at the gate?

Someone will have to get her. I can bet money her stalker boyfriend will go get her. That poor dude sold stuff out of his apt so she could smoke crack. I have met him and hes a fruit loop to the 10th power. He obsessed with her. I know he even gets a room and sits outside why the johns screw her because he ran out of money for her. Its a sad situation. But good thing is if he still lives where he used to she will be located in st pete and Im sure she will be back at the hotel in no time.

If he doesnt lets car pool... LOL!

If you read a few of the papers there are cleaning companies and even dog walking services that offer the better the tip the better the show meaning they are available to talk, if you read between the lines. So with that in mind - its your call..

I know this is my first post, but I came across this website looking for Holly. I actually grew up with her. Known her since we were about 14ish. I saw in the FDOC website that her registered address is in Hudson for those of you who were inquiring. Wow. They update fast. I just went to find the link, and it says her probation is out of Clearwater. No current address posted now. I googled it lastnight and it's WAY out in the middle of nowhere.
