I'm a hobbyist for about 4 years, an MDas well and I was reading this thread
I was particularly interested in "bumpnrun's" post below. Very sound advice. Ultimately all of this boils down to how much risk we want to take with our bodies. I started in this hobby about 4 years ago when my marriage started failing. I'm now 47 . I live in the NY metro area. I'm particularly attracted to the Asian incalls specifically the upscale Korean services in and around NYC. Now I realize that wait I'm about to say is not for the faint of heart or slim of wallet. I'm a prof guy with a 6 figure income and I know I could date regular civilian women and I do but I find if very entertaining and exciting pursuing these early. Mid twenties Korean hoties. I'm a very fit decent looking Caucasian guy. I have washboard abs and a really cut youthful figure. I'm 5'9" and have very regular german / Nordic features. I keep myself meticulously groomed and clean and fit and well dressed. I will get myself STD tested at an online pre paid service like STD check or STD express every two weeks or sometimes even more frequently. I will show up at an incall location or hotel with these blood tests. I have also had a vasectomy. I also, believe it or not, purchased a bunch of HIV tests that can be performed by a mouth saliva swab. (I get special deals on these as an MD).
Every pro has her price. I arrive with a few roses or carnations, some chocolate. I make sure I get the lights up and on or shades open if its daytime, so I can inspect the room for drug paraphernalia. I also want to get a really good look at her body, (track marks, scars, etc.) I have the knowledge and training to look for these things. Most of the these younger Asian girls are very clean and physically beautiful.
We often start the session, if its a first time, with some very gentle hugging and kissing. I a completely straight hetero guy and only want to enjoy these women in a gentle respectful way. I don't want to abuse or hurt them. Once they get this vibe from me they really relax most of the time. After 15-20 minutes I say, "oh I wanted to show you something" and I bring out an envelope with a report from a hospital that shows I had a vasectomy and says I have no active sperm. Also I bring out the actual lab tests that show I am completely clean with no STD's not ever herpes (once I caught Chlamydia) There are several online language translation services available where you can have English text translated into any language you want. I have a sheet that says in English and Korean that I have 1) had a vasectomy and 2) I have a copy of a set of recent blood tests that show I am healthy (these are usually within the last 1-2 weeks). Now some girls get the hint and will say, so you want to skip the condom. Some don't get why I am showing them this. The next thing is to make it worth their while. And here guys is where you have to be committed and not insult them. If you want to realy get inside these beauties and cream inside them. You have to make it worth their while. My STD sheet says "I really appreciate spending time together with you and I want you to feel comfortable and safe with me. I had my blood and urine tested and I have a copy of the results that you can see. I am completely healthy. ".
The price for an Asian incall service in the NYC area is about 220 for reg GFE service. Some of the higher end places charge 350 or even 400 or even 500. If the girl is really one who I really think is a hottie and want to bareback, Ill offer her another 400-500 bucks. They almost always accept. If they don't accept they I usually have a great time anyway and if I decide to come back again another time I try it again. I offer to test THEM with the mouth swab (which gives results in the room in 15 minutes) and they usually accept.
Afterward, as has been written in other posts you have to wash yourself with soap and water thoroughly. I would also add to this, if you are worried about herpes consider washing with 9-10% betadine solution for 3 minutes and then drying your genitals and applying moisturizer to the area as the betadine can be irritating. Alcohol gel also kills herpes but can sting. You can apply this right afterward on the way home.
What I do is I actually have a supply of oral Valacyclovir tablets and I take 1000 mg by mouth about an hour before the encounter and then again about 4-6 hours later.
I have a supply of Zithromax and cipro 500 XR tablets. 1000 mg of oral Zithromax is currently the treatment for chlamydia and one dose of 500 mg cipro XR is for gonorrhea.
Syphilis is very rare in this population and is curable.
Hep be has a vaccine which you can get. Hep see is rarely acquired unless you are seriously into rimming which I am not.
HIV well. What can I say. Very rare in the upscale Asian incall community. Again it all depends on the risks you want to take. I am not into picking up crack head, drug addled streetwalkers.
I did in fact " fall in love " with a Asian incall escort who actually lived nearby to me. She became my sugar baby for almost a year and we dated and I helped get through school and she left the business. When I finally decided that we couldn't continue the relationship any more I cried like a child. It was like a high school girlfriend breakup.
Anyway. If you have any other questions let me know.
Don't Put Words in My Mouth!
Is my ignorance really that transparent? Ah! Perhaps it is.
You know in my wanderings through life I have found that a certain type of person (not specifically referring to CJ here) gets all bent out of shape being called "ignorant" or having a lack of knowledge. I have always been kind of amused by that, because ignorance isn't a terminal situation. A bit of education is the "cure". So if one endeavors, they can cure their ignorance and no longer wear the label. You know, I personally never minded being called ignorant as I know that it can be cured. I do however, expect that some one who suggests such a label for me, that they provide resources that I can use to get educated and cure the ignorance. Since that is what I expect, I have provided information and links for anyone to read and learn from. I'm just sayin'.
But! I shall continue to rely on condoms and you may put your faith in soap and water.
BullSh*T! The last half is an irresponsible statement. Please show me where I said one could put their faith in soap and water as an HIV preventative technique. I never said that! I did say healthcare professionals have told me washing after sex was good practice. It is. Are you saying washing after sex should never be done? Hey if you wanna put yer dirty tool away without cleaning and then go to the next girl with a dirty tool, I guess that is your prerogative in a free society. {see two can play that "put words in the other's mouth game} But for you to twist my words around like that is just plain BS! C'Mon. Man, you don't need to stoop that low, you are better than that!
What's the specific window period for different types of HIV tests?
Antibody tests ("Rapid" tests) give a positive result based on antibodies to HIV, not the virus itself.
2-8 weeks (up to 2 months) after infection, most people will have enough antibodies to test positive

Yep and 2-month is not 6-months!

12 weeks (3 months) after infection, about 97% of people will have enough antibodies to test positive

Here again, 3-months is not 6-months!
Antigen tests (RNA tests) show a positive result based on the presence of the virus. These tests are more expensive than anitbody tests, so are not offered in as many places.
1-3 weeks after infection, there will be enough viral material for a positive result
Home testing kits As of Fall 2012, there are two "home tests" which have been approved by the FDA for use in the USA:
OraQuick by OraSure is an antibody test that you complete at home, so the window period is the same as described above.

Yep, so again 2-months or 3-months is not 6-months!

Home Access HIV-1 by Home Access Health Corp is not actually a test, but a sample-collection kit. You use it to collect a blood sample which you then mail to a lab for processing.

Yes, but the OraSure is a home test kit. It includes everything needed to get a result included in the kit. I forget, but think once the sample is collected it takes 10-15 min to get a result. No need to send a sample to a lab. Test kits can be purchased on line of is some pharmacies. Did you know of these test kits and their availability?
Cephlapod Love, I don't get your point.
If you don't get my point then what is your point? Are we gunna pizz all over each others shoes endlessly? Have we locked into an epic "battle" like SE where no one can back down because they have to be right and prevail with their view over the other person? Are our egos that fragile?
Your scientific data confirms Cowboys statement.
OK, lets recap Cowboy's statement!
Furthermore, since it may take some time for a disease like HIV to show up in a test, the only sure fire way to know, is to get tested, abstain from sex for, say, six months, then get tested again. Then and only then will you be sure that you are STD free.
I think if one reads (as noted above), they will see that they can get an antigen test which detects the exposure to HIV in 1-3 weeks time. So if one wants to be "sure" (as sure as anyone can be) then wait 3-weeks (while abstaining from sex) and get retested with the antigen test! 3-weeks is NOT 6-months! Also if one reads carefully they will see that the antibody tests are effective for 97% of people in a 3-month time frame. 3-months is not 6-months. So what Cowboy said is directly contradicted by the facts. That was my point. Not that getting one test means BBFS is OK. Don't put words in my mouth.
Yours seems to be an argument for the sake of arguing.
But jeez dude. Who is arguing for arguing's sake? I must have mention condoms and abstinence at least a half dozen times in my posts and yet you feel like your position (using condoms) wasn't adequately addressed? I guess there is nothing short of total and complete agreement will satisfy you? Jeez.
Thinking that you will be safe going bareback because you tested the girl an hour ago, shows a gross Lack of Knowledge.
Please tell me where in my comments I stated that one would be safe barebacking a girl because they were tested (or she was tested) an hour ago? I never said that and it is offensive that you are trying to put words into my mouth. SHAME ON YOU! Got to love this rhetorical technique - setting up a strawman to knock down or ascribing statements I never made to me so that you can attack them. Come on dude! You really have that big of a hard-on for this topic that you have to stoop that low in your rhetoric / arguing?
Once again you have managed to cloud over a very important issue with a bunch of facts. I may lack your knowledge and scientific go get it attitude. I do know one thing. Next to abstaining, condoms are the best defense against becoming HIV positive.
But WTF! Dude, someone disagrees with your perspective and you call it "clouding over an important issue with a bunch of facts?" Huh? Are you saying you don't care about the truth or facts? I don't know if that is what you intended but it could look like you only want to push your own agenda and position? You are smarter than that so I'll guess it was not what you intended.
I truly hope that the facts help to clear the confusion or "indoctrination" that we all got from the Public Health system at the beginning of the HIV / AIDS crisis. I thought Marines were trained to adapt and adjust as conditions change. Not stick doggedly to to old rhetoric? Just so I spell it out - the "old rhetoric" is that one needs to wait 6-months between tests.
Come on CJ, I am sad to see typical "internet tactics" of making false accusations, setting up strawmen and putting words in my mouth. I think you are a better man than that and hope you will prove it. Or you can continue to take the low road. Your choice Amigo.
Sorry if my title of "Lack of Knowledge" felt like a personal attack on you. It wasn't. It was more focused on all who could learn some things on the subject. I know I learned a few things while looking up info, so I am sure, if everyone is honest, they learned a few things too. Isn't that why we are here? Trade information and get better educated in the hobby?
Shall we keep wetting each others shoes?
Peace.
