Been talking with Jean and CoCo. Should reopen by the middle of the month they told me.
CoCo is back and open.
CoCo is back and open.
They must have abbreviated hours then. I went by last evening at about 8:00 and the lights were off and the "Open" oval light was not lit.

LD.
LD,
Some of my favorites do not turn on OPEN sign, but a knock on door will work. Try calling 5 minutes out.

Has anyone tried this place yet in bellefonte? Any comments both good and bad? What can I expect?
Has anyone tried this place out yet? What can I expect? Thanks in advance!
Hi. Thanks for your 2 questions— they're your only two posts to the board. Generally speaking, asking for information such as this right out of the gate will get you "crickets". No one knows you, who you are, and why you're asking (okay, we can guess why you're asking). Most people tend to be Uncle LEO shy with new board members without any credibility. You could start to build that by visiting the establishment you asked about and post your experience. By sharing that, other posters will get to know and begin to trust you (and my then be more likely to give up information when asked).
As for this place, you could do a search and see if anyone has posted. I personally don't recall ever having seen this place reviewed in the past but I would not claim to be an expert on the Bellefonte scene.
Good luck.

P Chop.
Thanks for the suggestion, Pork. Yanai / Clover have not in the past been shy about staying whether or not they're open but Covid-19 may have changed what they presently do.

LD.
Hey,
Thanks for the feedback. I'm quite new to the messaging boards, but not to the scene in general. I actually took it upon myself to check out tai chi this weekend. Typical setup (30,60 90 min options). Rooms are a decent size but they are made of temporary walls and there is no ceiling so anyone in the next room can pretty much hear everything that is going on. I stuck with the 30 min session for my first time there. I didn't catch the name of the girl I had but she was prob early 30's and pretty cute. Not much on the menu other than self-serve. She made a comment about the manager being near by. I'm sure this was a YMMV situation but overall this place is probably worth checking out!
Came here for the first time pre-COVID shut down after they moved from Yanzi. The place is no doubt much nicer than yanzi was and gives you the spa feel. Experience was the usual as everyone reports on here. However, I want to report something strange that happened to me when I was here. Make of it what you will.
60 min session. She kept leaving several times to answer the phone / see who was coming in etc. The first few occasions seemed normal. Typical mongers asking when she would be free or when they can come back. It seemed I was the only one there and she was the only one working. Later on, someone kept entering the place and she would leave to check. I only heard whispering on her end but could not make out what she was saying (this happened twice where someone came in without anything being said). After the session I tipped and as I was about to walk out the door the door was closing as if someone had just left. When I walked outside, there was a Ferguson TWP police car sitting there with an officer getting back in to the car. I had parked around the corner as I always do, got in my car and tried to dash ASAP. The same officer backed up and moved around the side of the building where I had parked and posted up there with a direct line of sight to the entrance to the spa. For me, nothing more came out of it, although I swore this was going to end up being a bad day for me. Who knows what the ultimate reason was for this. Maybe the cop wanted to see Coco himself LOL.
But nonetheless, be careful out there guys.

By the way, did either of you wear masks during your visit?
