Stosh, South Cicero has been dead for quite awhile, more so since the Midway Motel went away. And the city shut down several of the flophouses north of 47th where the girls were staying. The girls tell me the one at Archer is just too pricey. So they are running out of places to crash. I can occasionally find a few on 47 around Ashland, but it is not steady. The bus stop at Rockwell is usually empty. So I don't count on the south side any more for much unless there are areas I am not exploring. I sometimes see reference to South Michigan or 79th or a few others. But these are mostly areas I avoid and devoted mostly to Based, which are not really my thing. I imagine I am not their thing, either. Okay now someone can lecture me and tell me that I am anyone's thing if I show cash.
And I am sure what I saw south on cicero was a stray going into a store or something, ump. This had to be south of cermak on cicero at least. 47th and ashland I know too well as sometimes if I am in the mood I will cruise from cicero down 47th to ashland and then up to the flea. As far as the notels the only one I noticed was that shamrock which has been mentioned has sliding doors like you are going onto a deck or something which is completely ridiculous. Actually I don't trust any place where you can walk outside right into your room just in case someone decides to blow through the door when you are asleep. I think with the pandemic and the fact fuzz is everywhere the providers are just as confused as we are as to what to expect. As far as the street people down there nothing has changed. If one looks close enough they are podding and hiding everywhere down there. As far as the providers go I would believe they need money badly so we should see more activity in the known areas. I mean they are dead a** broke most all times and have bf's, pimps, gf's and whoever relying on them mooching money so they do need cash. It's not like they have their retirement plan in place! As far as auto correct or predictive text I agree it's a pain in the a* Course the f**kin pad to type on is made for someone with skeletal like fingers as well. I am just one step above a flip phone and of course have one foot in the grave, however I am still around kickin' as well. My new handle- old and in the way stosh out.
