She had been 'clean' for a few months and upon gaining her freedom began using again. It's quite common for someone who relapses after some clean time to overdose. The same thing almost happened to the Legend last summer, but she was revived. Too much of an opiate (and other drugs may also have an effect as well if they're taken together) and you'll fall asleep, but you're breathing and / or heart may shut down as well?
