After the initial contact, when I had wanted to see her within an hour or so, we then proceeded to reference checks and trying to coordinate later times and locations. I was then unable to make a firm appointment due to the demands of work. I kept her advised over the course of two days as to my desire to see her and my demanding schedule. While I hoped to break away, it simply wasn't possible, so I offered to schedule the following day but wasn't able to commit to a specific time and indicated I would do so as soon as I could find an opening in my schedule.She was assertive but polite in trying to come to an agreement on a mutually acceptable time.
Today I was jammed with meetings and was unable to contact her or to schedule anything but thought tommorow would be different. When I was just about to contact her about a specific time for tomorrow, I received a text from her stating that I had "booked thee days in a row and bailed". She then asked me to pay her cancellation fee and asked me "to stop stringing her along". She then accused me of "being rude and wasting her time". Given the abundance of alternatives in our fair city, I'd say it is her loss.
