It's a long way to go before I'm average-looking.

Avoid carbs and go heavy veggies and lean meats. Dump sugars. Monster salads for breakfast, lunch, dinner. Add in some cardio work specifically (elliptical, stair master, spin. Just avoid running until you drop some) and tons of water, you can drop 15 a month easily.
