Got it several times in Korea back in the day. It wreaked havoc on my dry skin and caused some sinus issues.

Looks weird. It works for muscle recovery and circulation. It can hurt pretty bad. Sometimes I would only get one or 2 marks from the process because she focused on that area more.
I hope that is the explanation for the provider but who knows.

The key seems to be opting for the 90 min massage, which is cool with me since I usually go there to get a decent deep tissue massage, but I let them feel like they're up-selling me. The older providers crank out a better finish to me, and the younger ones seem rushed. I'm pretty sure they're familiar with me at this point, but I learned from this site that confidence is key.
