Was looking for Kia since she went silent on the phone, looped up Dixie, had Emily hop in. Exchanged digits as she had to see a friend. Typically, they will hang where they can flag you into a parking lot (like the ones behind the house (s) on the corner of 12th & Dixie) and get you boxed in to avoid a high speed chase.

I picked up a SW once on the corner of 11th, it wasn't who I thought it was (she jumped in quick), so I went around the block and dropped her back off. Marked car pulled me at the corner of 10th after the drop off. Told me I ran the stop sign at 2nd ave and 11th street. When like "hey deputy. I made eye contact with you when I made the full stop". Then he told me, "I could arrest me for having a known prostitute in the car". Didn't want to argue the point (he can't), so I waited for his backup (I was "Signal 0" - I'm always signal 0). Had my lawyer on the phone during the entire stop (just in case something sketchy went down during the stop), he's telling me "Ask him what he wants to charge you with", but the deputy had a bad attitude already, so I took the stop sign ticket and went along my merry way (beat it in court).

The issue with getting pulled with a SW in the car is, they are invariably holding something. And will have no problem throwing it under your seat if you get pulled over. The line I typically use when pulled with a SW in the car is: "I know her from NA, she's on a relapse and I'm trying to talk sense into her". Works most of the time. Get their real name, and get a quick cover story going while you're pulling over, before the LEO walks up.

Most of the LEO in that zone know my car (s), and I don't usually get hassled, even when cruising deep in the hood. I sweep my car every day, so I know it's clean. Typically, refuse a search if you pick up sw's and haven't gone through your car after. Unless you've done something really stupid (like take them to a copping spot for candy before the date. Stupid stupid stupid), there's no PC for a search anyways. Sometimes I let them search when I know the car is clean, sometimes I tell them to call the duty judge and get a warrant. Know your rights. Be polite and respectful.

I always tell LEO to have a safe shift, thank them for their service and shake their hand. Do any of US want to put up with the bullshit they do, take the risks they do, for what they get paid? METHINKS not. Even back in my "slinging days", their job was to catch me. Mine was to not get caught. LET THE GAMES begin.

I took a pinch in FTL, like 18 years ago, by BREAKING ALL THE MONGER rules. Det K Hancock of the FTL PD. She was HOT back then. Hear she's a lieutenant now, I still run into her once in awhile and we laugh about it. One bust in over 40 years of heavy mongering in broward isn't too bad.
