As far as I'm aware, the only Kgirl experience outside of the agencies would be with indies like Josephine or Sela / Edelwiess (currently on hiatus). Something similar happened with DS, though that situation was hilarious as I gave up after four emails before eventually getting approval 2-3 months after our last communication! Some users here have reported that they got approved within a day or two, so who knows? My recommendation is be patient yet persistent.
