Cover Charge Waiver for Regular Customers
For my inaugural post (long time lurker just never joined) I would like to see what everyone's experience is with cover charges. Talking points may be around the following:
How long should you pay cover if you go frequently?
Should it be for all shifts / days or just the ones where you normally are there?
Have you ever brought this up to the club if they kept charging you? Did it make a difference?
Should parking waivers be a part of this?
Separate lines for entry and "Skip Line" fees.
I would be interested to hear everyone's experience / opinion.
My opinion is:
Probably after 6 months of going 1-2 times a week minimum they should probably stop charging you. Most places make their $$$ on drinks and tip outs from the girls. The cover should be for infrequent, occasional visits but if you are in the let say 20% of the people that are there the most let that man pass!
I personally never had to bring this up. It just happened naturally by talking to managers / DJs / Bouncers and being friendly.
Once I had the pass I had the pass day or night.
Separate payment lines and skip fees are not the norm where I go so I cannot speak to it. My rule is: If there are hustlin that hard outside maybe I don't want to go inside!
Parking (especially in the ATL) is a cottage industry that is separate from the club. It would be interesting to see if any have made head way there.
Glad to contribute where I can.
No Follies = No Follies Day shift
Look at post #10359. Vivide is one and the same Follies Day Shift. Based on that report I'm holding off. If you decide to go, please provide your experience.
Why would a place continue to use the name of a closed club? If you are good you will make your own reputation. That name is doing nothing but generating disappointment.
