That being said, I suppose I should count myself among the lucky few. I have visited with her at least a half a dozen times and each encounter has been better than the last. She is something special.

As a business owner I have been having to give some discounts extra terms freight allowances to customers to show them I want to earn there business. I have to be above beyond nice and follow up with sales leads etc. But that's the norm attitude with me anyway.

By having their own bulletin board like this one. That would take a while to catch on with most of them, if ever, IMHO. It would take a large part of their "herd."
Another thing that could get them to ask for more would be more indirect, that is, if their "costs" rise, so must their prices.
If they have to pay significantly more to support their habits, they will charge more rather than working harder.
