Yes, we've seen this movie before.
I think for a lot of the over the top reviews, the mission is to actually get people to buy in, not to just read the review.
Even tho many of them are very verbose, many times they actually tend to contain little actual description. A lot of them use verbosity and relative eloquence to obfuscate the lack of details and generic nature of the review itself.
I always say, if I take a review and it could apply to two-three completely different girls, this review is worth very little to me. It fails to paint a picture and to differentiate a girl from the rest. All it says is "go buy".

Many over-the-top reviews, not all. But at least a majority. Sound more like pump-and-dump hype to me then actual attempts at objective evaluation.
This. It's the hyperbole for me. If one follows this board as much as I do -which is to say way too fkn much- one should know who's suspect for lacking objectivity. And they'll recognize how quick some will counterbalance a review that reads anything less than a strong recommendation. And in those cases, it's always the guy's fault for a poor session, never the girl. It's where 'YMMV' becomes weaponized ad nauseam.
It speaks volumes when one can predict how hyperbolic a review's conclusion will be by who the author is. "As good as it gets. " "Can't ask for more. " "You will get all you want and probably more than you expected. " "Can't be beat. " Are just a few random examples that sound awfully like that damn My Pillow Guy.
But who am I to talk. My writing approach always applies alliteration, like some horn dog high schooler in a creative writing class.
New to this area but not to these surprises
Recent transplant to this area but have traveled to LA for years. I understand this is a small sample size but in my last handful of visits, I had 2 borderline grandmas whose posted picture looked like they stole them from their granddaughters social media, 2 who were middle age but posted pics from their peak years, and then about 2 more who were pretty but looked nothing like their posted pics. Are all the cute and beautiful providers now non-bb or elsewhere? I remember last year going into appointments being shock and surprised for the best reasons possible and this last round has been a complete opposite experience. I use to book with confidence knowing I would get at least a fair version of what I was seeing but I'll likely not see anyone new unless I see a positive post. What's concerning is I come from the east coast in an area where the kgirls go to retire and I'm starting to see a troubling pattern. Hopefully it's just a bad run? Hopefully. Appreciate any feedback. I know I should have walked on some of these but driving a hour to the location and don't want be labeled as a last minute canceller.
