How I understand it, there are no bars in CT, just cafes and restaurants. They want it both ways.

I hear you and I'd love for things to be what they were but I don't see it happening anytime soon.
I called them last night and they said they are not open, from how he said it I don't think they will be open any time soon.

Mandate a drink / food minimum and then the girls are just "staff". You're prob right it wouldn't cover the bills but I think a larger portion of their cash actually comes from the fees the girls pay to dance. It's a bit astronomical from what I've been told. Things are looking much more Favorable for us to reopen in faze 3 ! The new state mandates and guidelines are much more relaxed then they originally were talking about. Which is positive news for everyone in the bar / restaurant business!

With the hindsight of history we know in August nothing happened. Phase 3 in CT has not even been announced let alone implemented:
https://anonym.to/?https://portal.ct.gov/Coronavirus/Covid-19-Knowledge-Base/Latest-Guidance
I looked at the Phase 3 Guidelines for NY and let me just say I think Stripclubs would not fare well.
I don't want to be the downer of this conversation but I try to be realistic. I do think that right after the Elections in Nov everything will open up. No matter who wins the Dems and their lackey Governors will have no reason to further damage the economy.

In most clubs they feed the jukebox and tip the bartenders, bouncers, and DJ. Add in transportation and they start at about a minus 100. There are also significant fines for being late, not being on stage / delaying the music, causing drama and cumulatively not showing up. So yes, the Club can make a chunk of change off the girls but it will need lots of them to come in. Conversely, the girls need to make a few hundred or they won't bother working. How will they make that much just being 'staff'?
What you described is what a few strip clubs have already tried and for one reason or another not continued. Add in the Lamont's proclamation that he would shut down any bar "masquerading as a restaurant" and it doesn't look good.
I'm going to stop with this. I'm depressing myself now.

"Anyone hoping Connecticut would soon move into the long-awaited Phase 3 — which would increase occupancy limits for private gatherings and restaurants, as well as open bars — of the state's reopening plan will have to wait a little longer.
Gov. Ned Lamont said Thursday there are no plans to move into the next phase anytime soon. "For me, the schools and the colleges is a big part of the next reopening," Lamont said. "The rest of phase 3 would be upping the occupancy in restaurants and bars, obviously, we're going to have to take a look at that as the weather gets colder starting next month, but no other plans at this point."
That means private gatherings will remain at 25 people inside and 100 people outside, bars will remain closed and indoor dining at restaurants and gyms will remain at 50 percent capacity. Large entertainment venues, including racetracks, will remain at 25 percent capacity. Early last month, Lamont postponed phase 3, originally slated for July 20, after COVID outbreaks began to surge across the country."
Ugh!

Ugh!
Who knows what loop hole they may come up with. Only reason that I am even wondering is because: I walked into a small market this morning. The exact same market tha a month ago would not let me enter without a mask. It was pouring rain at that time and I forgot the Mask in my car. There was nobody in the store. I just wanted to grab something from the cooler and go quick. But nope. They would not let me enter. Today, there were 3 people sitting at the coffee counter, standard 12 inches apart. No masks. Just sitting there gabbing away. I asked if the mask rule was still in effect. They said yes. I asked about the maskless people? They said it was ok because they were eating. WTF? They were not eating. Maybe waiting for there food. But they only serve muffins. Muffins BTW that are only already on the counter. Not only that, but everyone entering the store has to walk right by those people only a couple feet away. And this is not one of those rebellious places. It's more of a liberal leaning cdc guidelines kind of place. Just sayin. If they can blatantly do something like this. A creative alcoholic serving premise may be able to find a loophole and give it a try. Enjoy O.

Last night I visited and most of the things I read about the crappy hot dog, sitting apart, and the mask. The thing that upset me the most is that that short bartender would come trying to push a drink every 20 minutes. All the signs say 3 drink minimum but she said you had to keep getting new ones or you had to leave.
For those who are wondering. Pleasant moments is currently open. Have not been there myself. But was out having a few drinks with one of the dancers at a place that we both enjoy. Just shooting the shit, having a good time. She gave me the basic run down. Food service set up. I think it's free. But not sure. Standard cover charge at door. Drinks available. No dancers on stage. Girls working the crowd in standard street clothes. Back rooms open. Basically all I have to report. Honestly, have not been paying attention to when these places are opening. And there has not been much scuttle but when I have talked with the girls. But the winds seem to be changing direction. Enjoy O.

Now that the summer is about over and people will hopefully stop acting like assholes, I may check it out in a week or so.
I couldn't wait anymore so I headed over to PM to see if the reports are true and it is. PM is open. They do have COVID protocols in place and the girls are in street clothes. They do have signs saying ordering food is mandatory but no one I saw had food at all. Anyway, I order a water and one spinner comes to me and ask to go in the back. I politely declined saying I want to relax for now. Minutes later a beautiful Spanish girl that was thick in all the right places approaches me and starts dancing in me. As I was enjoying everything, her friend comes over and pulls her outside. Talk about a bummer! The earlier one then came back to me again and when I declined her again, she got the hint and left. I was waiting for the thick one to return again. As I'm waiting, a beautiful Spanish girl next to me that was talking to another patron locked eyes with me a few times. I would have taken her if my thick friend didn't return but she did! She immediately apologized and resumed her dancing. She then asked for the back and I jumped at the chance. Once inside, I immediately go for the boobs which gets her excited. She gave a great CBJ and then I went to work on her. She stopped and wanted me to sit down and she continued and I soon blew in the hat. Cleanup was great but I couldn't make out her name since her English isn't so good. It sounded like soriel. I gave her four jacksons although she asked for 10 less. I'm definitely going to be back and hope I see her again.
Does anyone know what hours they are operating at currently? Plan on hitting them up early afternoon this week. I'll report back if someone can confirm.

Looks like they are operating normal hours. Just left at 2 pm. 5-6 guys 5-6 girls working.
They installed plexi glass at the bar and want everyone to sit 6 ft apart.
Most patrons wore masks and it was low key.
They were handing out free French fries I guess as a meal LOL. I didn't try them but they were freshly made.
Standard 5 $ to get in.
The back I got in for free because no one was there but I assume it's still 5 $.
Got a Dominican girl ester. Decent looking nice curves. All the standard stuff in the back. Possibly repeat.
There were no girls I would rate as 8 or 9 but I did go early.
Good luck all.

Never seen PM with only a few guys and girls. Can't imagine it would stay that way very long. They just going to let everyone in that shows up? Won't stay open very long like that. Also can't imagine they'll let a line out the door build up with guys awaiting entrance.
Maybe I'll wait til this whole thing blows over.

Opens at 12:30 to late.
I went in the afternoon yesterday- 5 at the entrance as normal and the place had 7-8 girls with one guy when I walked in. One or 2 looked above 5 but early days. Felt safe as masks were on and followed social distancing.
Esther was around, spent few minutes catching up then we to the back. No one there to collect 5 so went back took care of the deeds. I left happy with a smile. As I was leaving few guys were walking in. I do prefer people around for lively atmosphere but giving it some time. Looking forward to going back again.
