Having said that, I pretty much assume that half of the ads on there are BS of some form or another anyway. It doesn't look to me that the ratio is any different than usual. I think there's a bit of paranoia at work here.

Obviously that's not to say that you shouldn't always exercise caution under all circumstances in this hobby.
