You want me to give you money for nothing? You can't even keep your word. I don't think so" So she gets pissed and mumbles under her breath while she goes to get in the truck. Adios muchacha.

I sent a simple looking for fun text from a google phone number this morning. About 30 minutes I started getting phone call on that google number that came up as US Marshals Svcs. I didn't answer and googled the number and it came back to the US Marshals Office here in jax. They kept calling back to back so I finally answered and they told me I was texting with an underage girl and they searched my record and found that I wasn't a criminal and said they convinced the girl's parents to not press charges but they had two conditions one was I talk to a shrink right now for 30 minutes so he could evaluate if I was a pedophile and 2 pay a fine of 1900. Told them I didn't think they were us marshals so they said to google our number. I know numbers can be spoofed. Then I told them I didn't have 1900 dollars. The officer whose name was Cruz said that was unfortunate but I needed to pay what I could afford or they were going to send the police to pick me up and I could take my chances with the Judge on Monday. I asked them my address and Cruz said that's it we're coming to pick you up I'm tired of this. I said well you still haven't confirmed my address and they hung up. I've deleted the google voice app so I didn't have to deal with anymore calls. My google phone wasn't even a Jax phone number. And they never even called me by my name. So be careful out there sounds and smells like a scam. They did have my text I sent and said the girl replied, well she never did. And so far no cop has knocked on my door. Becareful mongers.

You know that shit would get shut down quick.

Unless the advertiser announced their age in the conversation and the caller continued communication, made lewd statements / sent lewd pics, travelled for a meet up, then I'd pass this off as a scam.

Second does anyone really think that any law enforcement would warn you before coming to arrest you? Third you can only be fined after you are found or have pled guilty in a court and imposed by a judge. Traffic fines are different because they are not a criminal charge but an infraction. The fines are a set amount and even then you have a choice to plea guilty and pay or plea not guilty and have your day in court.
