If they were shut down by the LEOs there would definitely be something hitting the news, which there hasn't been yet. They've gone through management changes in the past where they've been closed during the process.

Make it legal indoors only. No streetwalkers parading around on heroin disrupting the neighborhood. That brings the better girls to the clubs and incall / outcall. It has since been closed and prostitution is just as illegal in RI as it is here in CT. The best we can hope for, and it is a big if, is the decriminalization of prostitution and solicitation.
