I don't think race is it, knowing other Asians that partake. If anything, I think Asians tend to be treated better at AMPs. Knowing what the prices are is step one; being comfortable/confident inside is step two; sticking to your guns is step three. Also, whenever asked, you've always been there before (unless it opened last week, LOL).

Btw. Your references to various providers by an ethnic 'characterization' are fine by me. Anyone who respects the contributions that you have made over the years would be foolish to criticize you for any 'untoward' comments.
I feel that 'political correctness' in this country has done nothing but strip our society of meaningful traditions and values. We need to reestablish ourselves as a society where we can recognize and respect ethnic differences and at the same time share a bit of humor regarding our origins and beliefs.
Life is too short otherwise.

I visited a few months ago. The photo is a stock Asian girl photo; I doubt any of the girls in that photo have ever even been in the U.S, let alone worked at Cathay. The 2 working on the day I stopped in were not even close to any of these. Had a very run-of-the-mill visit; nothing bad or unpleasant happened, but there was nothing at all to make me want to return.

Tina used to work there. She was a cute 24 yr old Chinese with mad massage skills. Alas, no more. Now it is hit or miss. I agree, the photos are stock photos and I have not seen anything that good in Cathay.

Many Oriental ladies do not like to service men of their own culture. It's just something they don't like to do.

E.g., at Les Girls in Soho London, Lily, an Oriental lady, posts on their website she will not serve Asian men.
